They're not, especially if you're in the UK, exynos completely sucks bum.
I'd rather have the HTC u11 than the Galaxy S9+
There is just no comparison.
The u12 completely smokes any samsung device in every department.
Samsung had good phones, now they're just an apple copy, HTC is and always has been unique.

This HTC is just a dated Flat panep phone with huge bezepa in the forehead and chin and it doesn't even have a good screen or a good camera or not even a standout feature like speaker ....simply nothing to this phone actually convinces people to buying it

Only Human , 23 May 2018you do know you can change the wallpaper right, it's not permanent... The company should understand how to attract people for sale. Check Apple or Samsung wallpapers when they launch the phone. People will hardly need to change the Original Theme / Wallpaper after purchase.

It compares a lot to OnePlus 6. I still prefer OP 6 over this because of its budget price tag and the same experience.

Then I really don't see why would a... moreHTC Sense are no longer the sense that you know it, these day it is mostly stock with some tiny UI enhancement only, so the slow part doesn't really exist anymore. Seriously so far the best version of Android and it's fork probably would be Pure Android and Samsung Experience, one is fast and smooth while another is functionality and customization. On the other hand, the biggest problem with this phone are probably the price, if they really stick with $9xx, I don't see the reason people will be buying this.
If the lack ( or accidentally posted it) price is correct. Then I really don't see why would anyone wanted to buy HTC's phone.
You knows, besides Samsung, HTC is the most customized Android phone out there.
The fact that HTC isn't doing so good with their phones is because they're still having the wrong ideas of what users wants ( or would wants).
For example: the early HTC had their notification led light built under the front speaker that you can hardly see.
Their version of Android OS are also pretty heavily customized it to point that there's so many junk app in their phones( one of my coworker is using and it is not good because the way their modify the OS).
And it is pretty hard to navigate through the OS/settings.
So, for about $900 USD ( more or less), why would anyone buy this?

I've never really cared for geekbench but the numbers look almost on par with some mobile intel cpus
