Marco M, 23 May 2018Ehm, just use a third party launcher then. Such as Nova. Or get their android one phone. Mi A1... moreOn many skins of android this is recommended but to do that to a MIUI phone is such a downgrade! I mean just compare Mi A1 to the original Mi 5X and you see how many features are missing from A1. It is really sad to see any of the 5X devices that had to be part of that Android One fiasco.

I'm using developer eu rom on mi6, before that mi5, and never had any irritating bugs or slowness or anything. I will not switch to another brand until I get that quality for the buck.
People just want to cry about anything.

Are you either somebody who never used MIUI before or just some troll?

SohailSays, 23 May 2018I know lol A few days back Xiaomi launched a poll on tweeter and stock android outweighed MIU... moreThat's because Xiaomi wanted a sweep victory like Chinese people usually do. Seeing that it was almost a tie at 50/50 between Android and MIUI wasn't good enough for Xiaomi even though that's a really good statistic for a company that's only 8 years old.

Plus.... A few days ago? How long were you under that rock? The poll came out months ago and MIUI's already celebrated another leap in usership since then.

If it looks cart... moreAlways great to hear from the Sinophobes whenever there's good news coming from China. MIUI sucks? Then why is iOS 11 a carbon copy of MIUI 7 and why did Google just announce Android P complete with a giant chunk of MIUI 8 features?

It'll be great to see what Android Q/R and iOS 12/13/14 features will be revealed! Since MIUI 10 is going to be AI based and we already know Xiaomi's take on AI also means IoT it'll be interesting to see when and how or even if Google and Apple will implement them.

Meme Super Rage, 23 May 2018Please, i've never been able to multitask in my xiaomi phone, it cant hold the apps even just ... moreWow. Can't even hold an app?
You must have a setting where it literally closes the app as soon as you exit from it.
Idk where it is, maybe in the developer settings, and try to disable that kind of function.
No way it won't even keep an app running at all.

Anonymous, 23 May 2018there are always two kind of people.. those who like stock android and those who like MIUI... ... moreNah. People buying a stock Android smartphone are wanting for the best experience UI and fastest updates, not for the features.
Just like Samsung's Experience, LG's UI, HTC Sense, and MIUI, they are fully packed with features, but takes toll for the overall performance of the phone.
By far the best skinned Android UI that I've experienced is Huawei's EMUI. Sure, it's iOS inspired, but it's the fastest custom UI of all time. :)
