Well... handheld devices. Rather than phones. ^^;
AnonD-732843, 31 May 2018Both ports should be able to charge the phone but a safety measure should also be in place to ... moreI see. XD I live the #DongleLife just with my iPhone X (and Boi it's annoying -_-) I considered to buy that Headphone jack bluetooth thing. (4.99$) but I already charge 6 things (my army of Phones) I don't want to add another thing to the list. XD

The real advantage of dual USB-C ports would be only present if there was no 3.5 jack.
The purpose of 2 ports would be to listen to music, send data & charge the phone simultaneously without having to disconnect any accessories & or live the dongle life with a single port lol.

> "Uhm. Which one charges the phone? O_o oh well, i'll use two chargers. It'll charge faster" ... few seconds later: *BOOM* "Damn manufacturers and their idiotic Ideas... -_-"
Kiyasuriin, 31 May 2018Yes. That is correct but I don't find the lack of IR blaster or Lack of FM radio a dealbreaker... moreSame here, the jack has to stay unless OEM's start putting dual-USB-C ports or something to take the place of the 3.5mm jack or I'll just keep on patiently waiting. :)
Kiyasuriin, 31 May 2018And the Pixel 3 won't have headphone jack too ^^;You know it, if you're gonna sacrifice your headphone jack, you might as well wait for a project HTC actually seem passionate about.
AnonD-732843, 31 May 2018These features are very much needed and come in handy one way or another don't you think? Yes. That is correct but I don't find the lack of IR blaster or Lack of FM radio a dealbreaker. (And yes. I had devices with these features. Didn't really use them tbh and IR blaster I found to be fairly cluttered control)
However. A headphone jack is crucial for me.
Kiyasuriin, 31 May 2018I will ignore the insult... thankyouverymuch. Anyhow. I appreciate the fact you think differe... moreThese features are very much needed and come in handy one way or another don't you think?
No 3.5, no amoled, 800 euros? HTC what are you trying to trick? Just awful, thus phone does not change anything in HTC favor, HTC still living in a past there they was dominating market, but unfortunately they can't realise no one cares about HTC anymore with their ludicrous prices, LG learned it with G7 pricing, HTC refuses to except reality HTC is doomed
Berrykool, 28 May 2018No jack? Is it already the norm? 😣😝Unfortunately yes. Jacked phone becoming really rare Q_Q
AnonD-762314, 28 May 2018No headphone jack = wait for the Pixel 3.And the Pixel 3 won't have headphone jack too ^^;
AnonD-732843, 30 May 2018It's called using your brain...*D'oh!* (Homer Simpson) to use THESE FEATURES TO YOUR ADVANTAGE... moreI will ignore the insult... thankyouverymuch.
Anyhow. I appreciate the fact you think differently than me. But I don't think these features are needed (as per the IR blaster mainly). #featureFreak referred to the galaxh S4 and S5 if you didn't understand the hashtag.
Oh well~ have a nice day. And please, learn about Tolerance.
Nope
For 3 reasons:
- Outdated cheap SuperLCD6 screen and not Amoled
- No 3.5mm audio jack
- Sammy S9+ about the same price and offers all of the u12+ features plus AMOLED screen, 3.5m jack, Wireless charging and many more...
The only real advantage of the u12+ is their software as its much faster than the bloated crappy experienceUI of Samsung
Kiyasuriin, 27 May 2018And have a #Featurefreak phone?
It would drive me nuts if my phone had TOO MANY features. It's called using your brain...*D'oh!* (Homer Simpson) to use THESE FEATURES TO YOUR ADVANTAGE...
That's why we all have a brain in the first place and if you don't know how to use your brain then too many features would drive you nuts indeed & what a life failure that is on your end i can't imagine.
But I on the other hand appreciate the features I mentioned earlier and find they are rare & whatever is rare is the best ever made.
I will buy
I'll buy this just because of the Pixel level camera with no Pixel related bugs and/or defects
