AnonD-763241, 27 May 2018I'll like iphones . They will produce complete quality products. Either display or hardware or... moreRemember. iPhones camera sensor are always 1/3", its SoC are produced by Samsung, its display are never moved for about 4 years to a higher resolution. What quality that you're talking about is not quality.

The choices are not very accurate because flagships and mid rangers both exist in the 500 price mark. The latter sometimes come with a budget outdated SoC which is a burglary.

Meanwhile, very rare these days, but they still exist, jewels like the Redmi note 5 pro which will last for years and do a good serving for the money spent on.

Honestly, flagship a couple of times a year... yearly. After all, you sell the old one once you get a new flagship. So it's not really, actually paying the full price because you'd be disposing off the old one.

I have to go with flagships. Another factor to consider is the camera (over-all features).

[deleted post]Brand of Quality ?

Apple :
Iphone 4 antenna gate
Iphone 6 bendgate

Sony :
Plastic lens
Failed waterproof phone

LG :
G4 / V10 Bootlooped
G6 broken lens

Samsung :
Exploding Note 7
Burn screen amoled

Nokia :
This is new company , and you said quality brand lolz...

I use all of them and every company has problem.
If Apple camera sensor failed, its Sony sensor Failed,
If SD 810 hot in Sony phone, its Qualcomm Quality failed.

Bye

Nah. I don't buy phones every year. It's better to take care of your phone longer and saving you more money than buying another new phone just for the sake of being new and not being late I'm the new trends or whatever.
Also, midrange phones are getting so good that I don't want to buy a flagship soon because some features from its flagship counterparts are also existed in its own.

Usually I buy flagships but 2 years after it was released. Currently owning a S7E and planning to get Note 8 or S8+ during Christmas Holidays.

I always use the somehow outdated flagships and am fine it. I can't spend above 1000$ for a single phone. Everytime I have to change my phone also I need to update my wife's phone.

She is Samsung fan and highly photogenic person. I think S8+ or Note 8 will be a perfect Christmas gift for her.

I dont see a point in buying a flagship. Personally, I would rather spend the money on something else. Midrangers are powerfull enough for the use I need, most of us need. Why midrange too? After a half of year in market, their price is reduced greatly and if I sell it every year and replace, it will cost me £100 each year, if I choose so. But midrangers can last as long as flagships. I will see how it goes with my current phone, but I would personally never spend more than £400 for a phone. My current frustration is that "pocket phones" arent available, except sony compact line. No, iPhone is not an option for me...

One has to feel pity for the fools who pay so much for flagships when all most people do is use the phone for social media and web browsing.

I've got a Lenovo P2, it cost £230 and it's excellent. The thought of spending 5 times as much on a phone with no headphone jack, no fingerprint reader and half the battery life does not appeal to me at all.
