Move to the corner and "copy" the iPhone like everyone else? Make it square like Samsung? U12+ moved some sensors around, gave you a nice finish on the back, and gives you dual selfie cams. Every phone can look like any other phone if you only look at one feature.

Is it me or does HTC keep copying LG...first they add the V20's 2nd screen to the top of their U11 Ultra, now the back of the phone looks like it has a V20 camera setup. I guess they actually sold ALL their talent to Google!

HTC has the dumbest naming convention in industry.
          Sensation, One X, One, One M8, One M9, 10, U11, U12+
How do they think people would buy their phones if nobody know what One X and U12+ means. Whey people hear Salaxy S3, S5, S9 they all know that is the Samsung flagship

They should explain why they think this phone justified the cost of $900 instead.

I don't understand why some of you are insisting on blaming HTC for not including the headphone jack in the U12+. Please try to understand that headphone jack has its own limits and can't deliver the sound quality that USB Type-C can deliver, and don't forget that HTC has already included one adapter for those who likes to use their old headphones. Another reason why the headphone jack is not included is that it helps the manufacturers to make a phone more resistant to water and dust. Take for example the Oneplus 6, which doesn't have an IP rating while The U12+ is an IP68 certified. Secondly i want to comment on those who are asking for wireless charging which in my opinion is useless feature because of the low charging speed compared to the USB Type-C. I think that HTC has done a great job with the U12+ which in my opinion is near to perfection in aspect except one which is the screen. I hope that HTC will implement the OLED technology in its future devices for total perfection.

Why do you guys always associate HTC with lack of Headphone Jack!?

The Usonic USB-C earphones that they provide is superior compared to the headphones you normies use. Sure there's the $300 headphones that you buy from ATH, Beyerdynamic, AKG, etc. but what HTC provided is free and that USB-C earphones will soon change the way we listen to music. USB-C is developing speed and sound wise. Give USB-C a chance, give HTC's Usonic a chance!
