By saying that, HTC is really telling us that it has decided to jack up the price considerably.
I remember the U11 launched at US$650 (and even that got an early promo code to slash a cool $50 off)
U11 Plus got a price bump due to its upgrades, then this, another price bump bringing it to US$800.
Shoot!

Although it's unlikely for the seeable future... I still want HTC to bring back headphone jack's to their flagships. I throughly believe that if Apple did so, then tons of Android OEM's would follow suit.

The + means they added a new feature in the phone that is the removal of the headphone port

You can't include other people who aren't even interested in what you're saying.
You should keep your own feelings exclusive to you. No need to call out other people to join you, just to sound like you're right.

And this is not about saying that I support this jack removal trend. I hate it, and anything that means a removal of a useful feature.
But the point still remains that your own opinion doesn't become a majority to someone or something just because you want to make it look so.

Again, just because you have your opinion, doesn't mean it will be the same for others and will agree with you in an instant.
Besides, how do you know that ALL people in this world actually hates this jack removal?
I can simply object and say that I love jackless phones and easily debunk your theory.

I guess, according to (earlier) situation get a grave beside Nokia's grave beside Motorola's grave..! I'll put some goodies (dual stereo speakers action figure) & (3.5mm jack.H action figure) on your grave early in the morning..

Too bad they won't make a smaller version as 6" is tablet territory and I don't need something else that big in my pants to compensate for something else.

5.5"+ version would be very welcome but perhaps not with the compromises they put into place

- no wireless charging
- no 3.5 mm jack

After 8 years being a loyal HTC fans and submit to their weird decision year on year: ditching 3.5mm, ditching metal body, ditching front firing stereo speakers, etc I concur.
This year U12+ feels somehow familiarly casual, no element of surprises and still fail to maximize STBR despite removing all those, now it's time for me to do logical step..
It's been 8 years ups & down, I didn't shake away...
2010 htc hero
Htc desire, htc sensation XL
M7, M7 dual, M8 era..
HTC 10
HTC U11

I stayed so long when others have strayed. I didn't follow anyone at my decision, it's personal and I think this is time to part with HTC.
Farewell to them...

I find other who make 83% STBR, have stereo speakers setting just like HTC nowaday (not front firings), decent camera, good audio and great battery life, at much cheaper $370. I'm not gonna mention brand here for my respect for HTC. Hope they do well in future.

Eh htc.. You comlared with samsung))) i didnt like samsung, like htc.. Use many years.. I had, use htc 600, htcone s, htc desire eye like that 13mp selfie camera with flash.. Htc one max, htc m7, m8 eye, m9(1.5year).. But how you can compare with samsung, those brand sells millions of flagship models.. Try do few slimmer models, or with same thickness you must do more capacity battery.. Create all size screen like... X nokia x6 asus 5..

SohailSays, 24 May 2018Ah, who cares. I am not gonna buy it because it has no headphone jack. Jackass! But you don't really have to understand what they're saying anyway.
And only because you don't care, doesn't mean no one else does.
This is one of the very few phones that makes sense in terms of overall functionality and all has the necessary features we'd actually need.
Yeah, no headphone jack. But we have USonic earbuds that I would say is a rival to Samsung's AKG Earbuds and definitely way ahead of Apple AirPods.

After everyone has jumped into notched phones, and you don't like it, I'm pretty sure you're going to like this thing at least. Well, if you're not a HTC hating twat, that is.

Small or short model's name is truly good idea unlike what we've seen around Samsung's smart phones for example: "Samsung Galaxy S8 Light Luxury"
