Why isn't anybody manufacturing -rechargable- battery cells, which could then be fitted into various enclosures - to fit all the phone models... Nobody wants to be the next world-billionaire? Strange.

Lumina, 25 May 2018I do agree with the battery part BUT I also do agree with the previous guy's comment on the So... moreMan yes but try to understand a phone with SD845 or Latest Kirin and 16k battery would last on standy mode maybe half year :-)
So its maybe a good idea the phone its self offers helio P20.
Its not a best CPU but its not that bad.
Compared to Snapdragon 801 or 810 Helio 20 is very decent.

Mikey, 25 May 2018Here's to hoping they can. But using a non phone related name like that probably won't help ... moreOh man but why not?

CptPower, 25 May 2018Man you envy energizer aye? Because your casual Samsung or Apple never made a phone with more... moreHere's to hoping they can. But using a non phone related name like that probably won't help that. If DDM (who makes those phones) opted to use their own name or something "new" they might have actually been able to carve out a niche market for monster battery phones really quick.

And no I don't wish the battery fire mess on any individual or company. just pointing out the irony if it did happen to a phone using a battery companies name.

Mikey, 24 May 2018Their involvement stops at the legal team, just like CAT and those god awful Land Rover phones... moreMan you envy energizer aye?
Because your casual Samsung or Apple never made a phone with more than 4k battery in case of apple 3k.
At least their trying and they get better and better over time.
Like oneplus or xiaomi.
Grow from a small tiny company into a well known brand.

Sushant Sic, 25 May 2018But I am more curious that how much time it will take to charge this 16k Battery phone? With dash charge it will be less than charging an apple phone.
Oukitel K10 having 11 000 mAh battery charge 2:15 minutes. with a 15A charger included in box.
So with a same charger this would take maybe 2:40 minutes or up to 3 hours.

Who is in charge of production? What were they thinking? Introduce 3 types:
- 4,000 mAh battery with low specs
- Bigger 5,000+ mAh battery with mid ranger P25 / 4 GB RAM / 32 GB ROM
- Absolute monster 16,000 mAh battery with SD845 / 6 GB RAM / 64 GB ROM that will actually SELL

Just licensing the use of the name and logo. Nothing else. Zero design or engineering.

I'd also bet the batteries in those phones aren't even manufactured by Energizer. Of course it would be ironic if these phones suffered battery related fires like the Note 7.
