Hopefully they will have taken onboard all the feedback about the KEYone being too big to use with one hand and the KEY2 will be smaller.
Sold, take my money now, tired of these same boring, glass slab, media consumption, youtube watching angry birds playing phones, I wanted something serious, that I can accurately and securely type on that durable. Go Black berry lets get rid of these boring lame excuses for phones. Alll these new phones either talk about specs that don't matter, a screen and glass and metal. Time for actual usability.
If I'll have enough money my next phone will be something like this, with a physical keyboard. I just couldn't get used to typing on touch keyboard as fast as I could on old-school phones.
The keys though.. Stunning.
Will really consider once it's out.
Anonymous, 25 May 2018Why have a physical keyboard that eats up so much of the screen when it can pop on the screen ... moreWhy make such a comment if you can't understand or comprehend what Blackberry tech is all about. The Blackberry hardware keyboard is so much more than a physical keyboard, the option to set keyboard shortcuts to apps or settings etc (50+) and is also touch sensitive for scrolling through pages or lists and swiping in certain situations ie word insert. Very useful for keeping fingers off-screen and being productive in any situation and not necessarily for business use ;)
Anonymous, 25 May 2018Huge bezel under the screen :/That's called the keyboard. You know, the thing that one type on.
Anonymous, 25 May 2018Huge bezel under the screen :/I don't think so. Most likely that is part of the screen but the Android navigation buttons are hidden.

Security underestimated or not, if a device with a keyboard that aim at business personnel and didn't get much attention from them ( cause people are most likely go for a iPhone instead, especially for that price), BB sure didn't understand the market well!
And, It isn't a candy bar phone anymore, and people who use BB most likely typing with two hands(thumbs), so they aren't that unique or necessary in a smartphone age( I does the same, typing with my 2 thumbs).
So, high price for a mid range phone with less screen? Does it really works? Even with the strong security features, it still is too much for it. A 500&up mid range phone!
FromChinaWithLove, 25 May 2018It is still Android after all, and its price are a high end phone price but with a middle rang... moreImportance of out of the box security, even for an end user, could be easily underestimated. It may be an Android but two of the many ways it differs are, 1. it cannot be rooted and 2. if tampered with, it will not reboot.
My problem with paying a high price for BlackBerry security is that, they are guaranteeing only 2 years of security patches while Pixel lines come with 3 years. Also, Pixel get's more Android software upgrades compared to BB due to the 3 year promise.
Huge bezel under the screen :/
No interest based on the leaked images of Key2 and quite happy the present screen ratio of the Keyone
Many people complain about high price. It isn't Xiaomi for you. It is BlackBerry.
probably just another underspec'ed crap.. blackberry devices deserves so much better..
Anonymous, 25 May 2018Blackberry is fastest operating system on smart phones ever !well they use android now, bb os is dead forever
Blackberry is fastest operating system on smart phones ever !
Anonymous, 25 May 2018Why have a physical keyboard that eats up so much of the screen when it can pop on the screen ... moreBecause this is BlackBerry, having a physical keyboard instead of a on-screen keyboard is their staple. They aren't following trends, they're continuing on their legacy which is making smartphones that are meant for business users (Even though most business users wouldn't use their smartphones), hence this BlackBerry KEY2 isn't suitable for most people out there, same goes to its predecessors

BB will sell 625 devices with the 845 price
Anonymous, 25 May 2018More cost had two reason:
.
A. Good build quality
.
B. Secure, more secure to symbian &am... morethe secure reason of why BB is more secure is NOT TRUE.
in the past 5 year, CERTIFIED android (not the uncertified one) and iOS is as secure as bb. bb need to point out where is the secure in more secure
