Have you seen Symbian Belle? it looks really great. I was thinking about investing in Android smartphone but now I think I'll stay with Nokia :)

Let's put it this way. Why do more and more mobile phone companies are using Android? Of course, you're right. Sony Ericsson used to have Symbian in their phones , but why don't they use Symbian in their new smart phones? EVERY smart phone of Sony Ericsson now are using Android So there must be a reason for that. Apparently, HTC is using Android in almost all of their new smart phones now. Sumsung is also using Android in almost every new smart phones too; LG too; Motorola too. I'm sure the managers of these phone companies are not all stupid. They know exactly what is good for their business and they know exactly which OS is going to be the future.
As we all can see, even NOKIA, a company which used to be a really good partner with Symbian also COULD'T really see the future of Symbian and that's why they shake hand with Microsoft . We can't say that who kills who, who destroys who, or who deserts who... because a business man needs to make up the right mind and does what's good for the business. It's just the way a business is.

Freezes and takes forever to install apps.That was true before, however after updates to Anna, and Belle which is coming!, I already am running a leaked copy on my N8 and its so smooth, fast, reliable, its SO much better than Android, wait and see!

WP7 and iOS is a different story - first impression was more than very good. WP7 in my opinion is outstanding. Yes I have never had Samsung or SE phone, but most of my friends weren't very satisfied with it. I was very impressed when I saw that many friends of mine had changed their phones to Nokia in summer season. I think my opinion would be different if I had chance to test Android phone for about month or less.

Android has gotten what it deserves.
It's really hard to believe that Symbian is still the leading OS in Europe nowadays. I don't hate this OS and it's not my style to cut the bridge behind my back, but still... Symbian used to be a very good OS, but it's no longer a leading one. These-days, smart people know exactly what kinds of smart phone they would choose: iOS, Androit OS, Window Phone OS and Black Berry OS are still competing while Symbian and Meego are NOT parts of this championship.
