so main reason to get an iPhone - is every other company will follow iphone. I am stuck with Note 8 , wish I switched to iPhone X. If android looks like iOS - then its better to get iPhone - apps are still better in iOS.
I did not liked the notch - but looks like there wont be a good option without notch(I am not considering Samsung at all because of their delayed android upgrade, duplicate inferior apps and ugly icons). So its time to go with iOS.

Design wise:
Pixel < Pixel XL
Pixel 2 ~ Pixel 2XL
Pixel 3 >> Pixel 3XL
Looks like LG is copying the LG G6 design for the smaller unit, whereas HTC is copying the OnePlus 6 and Sony XZ2. You can tell which design is more tasteful. Perhaps HTC should've copied the dual-notch design of the ZTE Iceberg (basically having a proximity sensor, selfie cam, and front speaker, as a notch symmetrical on both sides).

How predictable.
First, let’s make fun of Apple for removing the headphone jack, then follow suit the next year. Now the notch, and for no good reason (ie. Still having a chin). What’s next, removing navigation buttons for gestures? Oh that too.
Now if Google sell the pixel at a discount ala Nexus, that’s understandable. I mean they didn’t spend resources on design by copying Apple, so at least pass on the savings to customers. But no, Google wants to charge the same price as Apple and Samsung. Seriously? Yet the blind fanboys will continue paying $$$ while bashing Apple for being overpriced. So hilarious.

I'm a loyal Nexus 5 user still using it for past 5 years. Wanted to get the Pixel last year, but the issue around the display and the Pixel using the older format instead of 18:9 stopped from buying it. Hope this time they don't have any issue and price be reasonable around $500+, so I could switch over.

anti symmetrical..ugly especially combine with a chin. apps bad looking in landscape, the space gain have little use in apps. no great features when gaining the notch..
Reason for loving notches:
look! All OEMs are doing it, why not love it? why all the hate??

I regularly use audioquest dragonfly with my OG pixel XL. Sometimes I use headphone jack for causal listening and long phone calls while charging the phone.

And look at the size of the bottom bezel to boot. Man that thing's totally unsymmetrical and an eyesore.
