They should've gone for the galaxy s9 look and a larger battery... S8 is easier to hold than s9, but the finger print sensor is in the right place for s9. That's the only reason I said s9 rather than s8, because I still consider s8 to be revolutionary.
iphone X and "inotch" became a sensation only because it's an iphone, we've seen notches before, but only iphone would make others go for it like crazy like they abandoned 3.5mm headphone jack..
Anyway, pixel 3 should give us a 256gb option because not everyone is content with online storage. And I think it's about time to go for 8GB RAM.
And they should just release that Pixel C2 now, if they ever do, because Android lacks a good tablet right now.....
Disgusting notches abound. This year will be the year of samsung, sony, and htc. Except the latter two offer ridiculously steep prices for the calibre of their reputation (which is to say they are way over their heads). That leaves samsung in a spot they have no problems being.

I was a notch hater but now I don't feel anything bad about it being there. After using OnePlus 6 and enabling Notch Turn Off feature. It felt completely normal to me. If Google, in future, include Notch Turn Off feature in Pixel 3XL, it will be completely normal.

Anonymous, 28 May 2018No 3.5 mm and notch. Bye Pixel !!God damn. Stop with the whining. Both are towards the right direction (gradual dissapearance of the upper bezel + one port + ability to choose own dac).
And the inconvieniences they introduce are easily solvable (black background to the notification bar, adapter for your legacy headphones).
The death of removable battery was a serious step back, but I don't mind it either. It will return and return strong (removable back that also double as chargers, i.e. your charger *is* your phones back + it gives you 100% battery ... expect the first models in a year or two).

Give it front facing stereo speakers and you made me turn my head! Give it Google's support and I am all for it!
Personally, I would wait for Note 9 and Oneplus 6T and then see if it is still worth it!!!!

I am all for pixel and Nokia look at this year but fingers crossed pixel stay well away from LG screens.

Android P will suck with no dark mode. Is that going to increase screen burn ins? Most likely yes. Pixel 2/XL was plagued by screen burn ins. It will happen again Google doesn't allow custom layers on Android P, because it's too hard to implement. Google can save 14 billion human eye sight if they added dark mode in their phones.

Whackcar, 28 May 2018If this is real. Then Pixel 3 will outsell Pixel 3 XL this time. Too many people hate the notch. loldude the pixel 2 is still a LOT batter then the Pixel 2 XL why? TERRIBLE screen quality and ripoff price
when a Phone is overpriced people switch to the mini model because it is cheaper with similar specifications why do you think most mini phones are midrangers? so people will conceder buying the big model
mix that with low screen quality (if the screen was again made by LG) and NOTCH it will sell worst then Sony XZ2
