Shanti Dope, 29 May 2018Will be the last great-looking phone from Motorola before they jump to notch bandwagon. Mar... morei think motorola wont adopt the notch for moto is not cheap lol
Most probably they are going to price it around US$ 400.
Dedicated camera button?
i think that's just a power button which place on the left side, the device should need a button to boot the device
AnonD-299209, 29 May 2018So... about the april 3rd thing... is the date (and 11:35 the time) of the first mobile phone ... moreWell The time yes, the date is a rather recent thing it seems - within the last year.
Even the Z2 Play last year had a release related day and 11:35 in the display.

Though the later Z2 Force had the April date

Motorola has tauchless control, no require button for Google assist which not as good as moto own.
Might be new innnovation, hopefully, since other brand just copy-paste
The shitty branding on the chin is not required. Hauwei's excessive branding is an example of cheapness/tacky. These Chinese OEMs have no style.
Vic4BBM, 29 May 2018I doubt if Motorola will follow notch trend.
Till date ( though now with Lenovo) Motorola has... moreIf the Lenovo Z5 is successful about what it claims to be, that is.
If it turns out like a Xiaomi Mi Mix, where half a year after, other competitors, especially the big brands, will be forced to step up their game and follow that path, then Motorola might skip the notch trend and go directly in their own path.
But knowing Apple, they would be a big cancer again and again.
They would do something stupid to horribly ruin the design trend and make their competitors to follow their design instead.
Nowadays only a few are immune to mimicing Apple's terrible decisions.
What's I even hate more, is that most Chinese copycats and other Android OEMs copy the most stupid things from Apple but skip what they actually do good or great, like IP Rating, dual stereo speakers, great software optimization, camera's natural image processing (especially on the front end), and a well-calibrated display.
They pursue their career of being a huge copycat but end up disappointing the most at it. Why do some OEMs even have to copy others when they can do their own thing and might end up being better than the others??

Mar... moreI doubt if Motorola will follow notch trend.
Till date ( though now with Lenovo) Motorola has been original in it's Design.
It's design originality is one of the reasons I prefer Motorola phones
What leak? This was leaked a long time ago. What has not changed has been the dated design it has. It'll be funny watch the price they ask for this mid-range phone.
any heads up for the price?
Why does Moto have their new launches in Brazil?
I personally think, that following trends aka copying stuff from one another is always mostly about useless stuff like notches and no headphone jacks, all the while more useful things like that oh so useful mute switch and i.r emitters are left over, what a shame!
Will be the last great-looking phone from Motorola before they jump to notch bandwagon.
Mark my words.
So... about the april 3rd thing... is the date (and 11:35 the time) of the first mobile phone call made on a motorola phone over 40 years ago, its the same time and date on most of the motorola phone marketing photos, even for waaaay back... try to do a little more research first bud! ;)
Manhurt, 29 May 2018(we need to stop with these fragile glass sandwiches). True.We need more fragile and expebsive to repair devices. This is the year's top priority before anything purposeless like bigger batteries
