Looks like the OnePlus 6 is roughly equal to low-IP67.
So its a smidge above the industry leader Sony Xperia Z2 IP58, a smidge below the mainstream Samsung Galaxy S5 IP67, and basically inline with the budget Sony M4 Aqua's IP65.

So it should survive rain, spray, and maybe an accident dunking. Just don't go into the shower or pool with it.

The best ingress protection is with the Samsung S7 Active, LG V20, and the iPhone X.

Nothing new found.. Everything that was already known from the ifixit breakdown that came out within 3 days of the phone release.. Jerry should stick to bending and burning phones..

making it IP rated makes the phone more expensive.
they want to be affordable flagship

That was interesting to see and I'm not having a go but what was the point without using even a drop of water to see how resistant it actually is?

                I mean

He actually said the words "I will be focussing on water resistance this time around"

Anonymous, 30 May 2018Because it costs money. exactly. unlike other company declaring IP-rating to increase the price of their phone.

That's nice an dandy ,BUT how about focusing to deliver a Oneplus 6 review?
I think gsmarena has one the most in dept review system around and that takes time, but the device debut was 2 weeks ago (and i know some influent reviewers received the device even before that) meantime while we wait ,the rest of the world has already tested, reviewed , crashed , burned, cut, opened, disassembled, reassembled.
