Xiaomi CEO shares Mi 8 camera samples ahead of the official launch Comments

The sample images look great!! Xiaomi's camera capabilities have undergone a quantum improvement since the release of the Mi Mix 2S ... and if these samples are indeed straight out of the camera (without any touching up) - they are definitely of exceptional quality. I wonder whether Xiaomi are using a 1/2.3" 20 MP sensor.

No way these shots come from f1.7 and f1.8.
This strong blue sky is seen on phones with f2.0 or smaller.
Shot of the lagoon is very underexposed for wide aperture.
