I left those back two years back. 3.5 audio jack is usefull to me. But I thing within few years that culture will be replaced also. I don't like the notch, and prefer a plain border, bt can get away with it. And most importantly only megapixel is not enough to get a good picture. U should know that.

This is an AMAZING value for a phone in the sub $300 price range wow impressive. I like the less bulbous design with the sharper corners, it looks like the nokia x6 pre-renders before they wen't with 100% iphone x copy. With the 710 snap dragon on the 10nm process you should be getting some amazing battery life as well, this basically kills anything using the snap dragon 660 price range but competitors will be quick to jump on the bandwagon.

Actually the form factor, design and price make the SE more exciting to me than the larger brick style 6.2" mi 8, and it has a bigger battery than the premium models lol... I was debating the Nokia X6 as it has a few less compromises with the 3.5mm jack + SD card but I do like that AMOLED which is the only screen you should even consider if you want to hide that fucking NOtch without actually losing power rendering black bars.
But my god was it a stupid decision to but a 20mp selfie camera, most people use that to take quick shots to post on instagram or FB which is down-converted to 2mp anyway. It would have been much smarter to give us a 20mp rear camera and 12mp front camera instead but that goes to show you how self absorbed people are that they think they need a 20mp front camera....
Overall a really impressive phone, not perfect, but getting there and I think this will for sure be my next phone...

Unless the MIUI 10 is a RAM hungry software like the MIUI 9 is, 4GB RAM shouldn't be any major of an issue.
But hey, the Honor 8 Pro is still one hell of a beast!

It also boasts AI power, which then makes it more future proof since more AI-related things will be made in the future.
I could agree with you on most, but the front camera of the Mi 8 SE is better.

SD710 is more-or-less on par with its spiritual predecessor, the 820/821. The only reason why I recommended Honor 8 Pro to that person was the storage and the RAM amount (I didn't even know the 2K screen on the H8 Pro :D )

This is crazy. The selfie camera (20MP, 2.0µm) has the largest sensor out there after the Nokia 808 Pureview that has 4% bigger one (hardly a difference in size). This is in fact visibly larger than even P20 Pro's! Even more stupid is the fact that the main camera has much much smaller sensor than the selfie one.

With Note 5 Pro it was first in India too and later come a version that was with B20 with really low difference in devices. Front camera on 5 pro was 20mp and note 5 AI 13mp and maybe some other differences too.
