Genza, 31 May 2018I still have Xiaomi Mi4C that i use as my backup phone their updates is great but i always hav... moremi 4c using sd 808 right? as far as i know sometimes oem disable a57 cores to prevent phone from bootloop or overheat.

Xiaomi doesn't bump up the android version for older device they simply give the feature of new MIUI without new android.

I still have Xiaomi Mi4C that i use as my backup phone their updates is great but i always have problem with Mi4C because i always get forced close whenever i play games, it gets overheat for simple task and i just found out that the 2 Cortex 57 cores are always sleeping no matter what i do with the phone abd it makes the phone lags.
Btw i'm using the official MIUI 9.5.2 Chinese ROM

Xiaomi at least gives the newest MIUI even to the oldest phones that can run it flawlessly.
Can't wait for this on my Redmi 5 Plus!

With treble support, at least they can push android base version to their product. Since my redmi note 3 still stuck in marshmallow even on miui 9.5.

Well I am using redmi note 5 pro ,and yet many of us havent got miui 9.5 in india ,so miuo 10 will most likely come in August or September as xiaomi is pretty slow in sending OTA updates in India compare to China
