Got this update on my Nokia 8
The new thing for bothie mode, that it has PIP (Picture in Picture),
Where selfie cam view is a small rectangle on top corner and main Cam view is full screen
Overall photography experience is great, specially the OZO Stereo Mode of Video recording.

I actually never needed a notification light, I never even noticed it, back in the old days of my Note2 I used to customize the light color for each notification but I remember never noticing it so who cares for the notification light.
The Nokia E7 had a oled always on display now that is a nice feature, and the 8 sirocco is p-oled so always on can be implemented this is way better than a simple light.

As a long time Nokia fan and mobile forum enthusiast, i am driven to say that as much as we love Nokia and the recent additions, the continuance of having No-Notification light is off-putting.
You dont know if any one has rung, left a message, is the phone charging etc. There are just some basic everyday things this feature adds to and makes life simpler.
This single attention-to-detail thing that would cement myself and many others that raise this issue. Not only that, these lights were character features of Nokia actually
Nokia have always had this feature and actually had some really "great looking lights" a part of their character.
Nice to see this colorful personality make a return. Examples Nokia 6720 Classic (beautiful beast) and 6300i.

iAl, 02 Jun 2018how can i get this firmware update..? i have Nokia 8 !It rolls out batch by batch. You just need to wait or search for updates under About phone tab. I got it on Friday itself, most probably because i had one of the first released Nokia 8 (2017). It will slowly roll out for all.

The graininess of low light images are smoothed. Better visibility. With the software update, images and the screen overall looks a bit crisp than before.
And a faster camera. The experience has got better.

Honestly, I didn't expect this much improvement. I have been using 3rd party camera apps on my Nokia 8 (2017). The pictures were definitely better than the ones taken with the Nokia Camera software. But now with the Pro Camera, its way better than all the third party apps. The Bokeh mode as well as low light photos have improved greatly. So now I have the most up to date Oreo OS as well as an awesome camera. Few trolls will never learn. Thanks for the gift dear NOKIA. Thanks for not letting the not so old phones left behind.

I got the update and oh my God, they improved the camera algorithms by a mile. It wasn't smooth the last time and now it's slick! Though I don't need the Pro options, I appreciate the algorithm improvements.

Still doesn't matter when it's still locked to max 6 seconds shutter. Hmd, remove the limitations! Then update the apps.
