LG Superfan, 01 Jun 2018What happened to Samsung UFS sd card?they havent died off yet but samsung havent bothered to release either the cards or the port that can read both micro sd and UFS, (not at the same time) but more like future proofed, they developed both pieces of tech in mid 2016 i think, its just seemed to be phased out, i think there is more money in just offering larger storage phone options currently
Anonymous, 01 Jun 2018Instead of releasing new type of SSD all the time they should work on making the existing ones... moreFirst, this one is microSD.
And second, new capacity means others will be cheaper
LG Superfan, 01 Jun 2018What happened to Samsung UFS sd card?Ufs? No sd cards have 600-900MBs. And that's why I don't like sd cards in phones. It's not nearly as fast as the internal storage.
well, this is a good news because the 128GB price will drop so i can buy. 128gb is so enough for me with the 64GB internal memory.
MrElectrifyer, 01 Jun 2018Nice! Now my 456GB Exynos Note 8 has the ability to go up to 768GB capacity whenever the need ... moreI am having a 528 GB S9. Can't wait to have it upgraded to 640 GB! (Israel didn't get 256 GB model -_-)
Anonymous, 01 Jun 2018Instead of releasing new type of SSD all the time they should work on making the existing ones... moreWhen new higher capacity models come out it pushes down the price of everything else. MicroSD prices have come down a lot over the years; at Christmas I bought a 200GB Sandisk for $60 CAD. I wish higher capacity cards came out *more* often - it'll be a good few years yet before I can take my entire music collection with me at full quality.
LG Superfan, 01 Jun 2018What happened to Samsung UFS sd card?Still exists. As far as I know...
Man. This Plus Note 9 (8/512) people will be mindblown! OwO
AnonD-546724, 01 Jun 2018I've never heard of PNY, even less of integral which seems to be pretty generic Gotta wait... morePNY is legendary company. Like Soyo, Supermicro or BTC.
heh, 01 Jun 2018Why is a Galaxy S4 pictured? That's the beauty of SDXC compatible Smartphones; they're capable of taking advantage of future MicroSD cards of up to 2TB capacity according to the SDXC standard:

Nice! Now my 456GB Exynos Note 8 has the ability to go up to 768GB capacity whenever the need arises.
Moving more and more of computing needs to it from my 512GB Surface Pro 2, soon will also be using it as my gaming console via Snes/PSP/PS2 emulators and ROMs. Love my extremely versatile Note 8.
Sticking a 512Gb card into a Galaxy S4...
Rex Tech, 01 Jun 2018512-960 GB on a phone ? That's my type of phone right there for research purposes :D VR research in 4K ;)

I already got a 512gb micro SD card. But sadly it's a bit cold sensitive. Was using it for gopro.
