You can see the ears are wider than the current X. But yes the notch will be the same absolute size as the current gen, ie the 5.8 model wont change at all. But the 6.5 will have more screen real estate. Hopefully battery percentage will fit now.

The S845 throttles too, around the same % that the A11 according to anandtech's review of the S9.
Even the "efficient" cores that clock over 2Ghz can throttle over time...

Anonymous, 02 Jun 2018I want the 6.5"Small, that's 5.5-5.7 in reality, the aspect ratio will be changing so you can't compare it's size. It would be like comparing an F350 to an Aygo - both have their good sides, it's just that one is good in the city and the other is good when you're moving chopped wood.

Those are people using phones like a Huawei lite, thinking they got way more value with their phone even though those phones have low end crap hardware. And now they are angry because they were dumb enough to not take an old flagship over this Chinese PoS. Apple Users are friendly. Samsung users bash everybody else if they are unhappy with their phone, which are J series users and those with an A and S series getting a promised update too late or never.

And afaik with a contract you're basically paying the price over time, another way of saying: I can't save the money by myself..
FaceGle, 02 Jun 2018no innovation for this handset. some people pay for an expensive phone with a poor specs. and... morePeople who buy iPhones don't care about the specs. They buy them because they know they'll get a quality device that gets supported for up to 5 years and have excellent customer service on that period. Plus, they can sell them for a good price when they don't want them. I'm not an iPhone lover, but I'll give Apple credit when the credit is due. There's still no device in the market that gets as much success as the iPhone and for a good reason. Especially now with big Android manufacturers (except Samsung and a couple others) copy their notch for no good reason (yes, essential did it first, but no one is copying their style).
