Design wise, the back is a killer!
Also, a BIG plus for not using a notch :)

What a badass design. If there is no a very established gamming market for Android, this kind of devices will launch it, for sure. You have work to do now, Gamming companies.

GSMArena is kinda bias. All the other lesser "gaming" phone articles show more enthusiasm and less criticism than this.

With all the "gaming" phones released, this has the most credentials of being a "real" gaming phone.

Overclocked chip
RGB lighting
90Hz display
Relevant Gaming accessories

Although, i am always of the opinion that gaming phones are an unnecessary marketing gimmick.

But of all "gaming" phones, this is the best and most "relevant".

Even before the rumors start spreading, I already expected this to come. Not bad though, but I really hope it was made out of matte metal back man. For the WiFi, even if it have a better 60ghz band, it isn't really any better, it will be put there and not be used for the rest of the person's usage of this till the death of the smartphone. It is fast af, too fast to be said by today's standards, but once the 60ghz band is blocked by a single object in front of it, bye bye to your connection! The only way to experience the 60ghz band is by, ethernet, but since there is no ethernet port here, smh. Well this is a gaming smartphone, so ASUS should really put software updates as one of their top priorities here, ESPECIALLY a overclocking center. If it is possible, add control of the CPU and GPU clock speeds, varies with the RAM speed too, and lastly, core voltage, this will be very familiar and useful to overclockers like me which I really like about

Really cool looks.
But sadly as gsmarena said the games on Android are very few and it's certainly of no use to buy a phone to game today.I blame the freemium model for this decline. The freemium model first lowered the quality of games and made gamers spend time grinding for worthless items and all for a game that never really ends.
