The 835 in terms of efficiency was a huge upgrade going from 14nm to 10nm. The 845 is an amazing chip, but in real world usage i doubt anybody can se any difference (and do not say that is true if you compare 835 and 820, because it really isn't)

I wonder how the Snapdragon 1000 fits in this scenario.

Intel gets squeezed, 05 Jun 2018This is a great attack on Intel. The last straw is actually Thunderbolt 3 / eGPU & Windows... moreSamsung if is smart, they would simply use their Exynos, ask AMD for an entry level GPU and enters on the laptop world too.

Anonymous, 05 Jun 2018After Snapdragon 800, there really hasn’t been a big noticeable difference to the end user.you serious? 800 and even 810 (the worst) were bad ones
820 and up are continuously improving every year
you don't know what you are talking about, just go out and buy one then you will
experience the difference

This is a great attack on Intel. The last straw is actually Thunderbolt 3 / eGPU & Windows x86 64bit emulation.

If those 3 are addressed.. Intel will be beaten. Not much people want a burning hot laptop with fans.. that takes ages to boot up.

I won't be surprised that Apple will go all A processors on low end Macs.

But it gonna be hard to dethrone Intel in the high performance cpu market thou..
