gollygeewillikers, 05 Jun 2018Got my update today. Pixel 2.Has the Fingerprint sensor become about 1 full second slower to you too? On my Pixel 2 XL everything seems to work as before (proximity seems to be a lot better), except the Fingerprint sensor. It's much slower since the new update.
Many others are facing the same issue, at least reading the comments on Reddit.

Try getting it replaced from the store you got it from, or check YouTube for some DIY videos if you feel comfortable in doing so.
If I'd be you, I would also consider asking this question on a Samsung forum like XDA or Reddit, there may be some other people who faced similar or the exact same issue.

I know my comment is not related to this post but I got May security patch update five days ago for my S8+ Exynos
After the update I go numerous reboots. In 1 hour after the update,I got 10 reboots.
I thought that was all until my phone started slow charging.
Now I'm stuck with 6hrs to full charge from the normal fast charge of 1hr 40mins.
I formatted the phone today and that didn't help.
Anyone got ideas how I can fix this please?

OTA is out already. I have already received it on my Pixel 2 XL here in the UK
5 June Security Patch
So far (only used the device for a short time since the update) the Proximity issue seems to be gone. We'll see how that works out in the long run.
