LG Superfan, 06 Jun 2018How is G7 uglier than that thick block without 3.5mm jackBecause it's uglier of the notch and that chin and the phone when its thin it breaks easily and the XZ2 isn't brick. All the phones was like that a few years ago. That brick your talking about couldn't broke when Jerry was doing the test and look the P20 Pro, thinner and lighter than the XZ2 and it almost broke when Jerry was trying to break, it was going easily to break but something held it and it didn't broke but that test showed that the phone is fragile.
For the 3.5 mm jack, trust me they will lose that 3.5 mm jack and soon because they all copied the useless notch, so the 3.5 mm will go and you will see

I dont mind the look of the xz 2 premium , bezels are also fine with me , having nothing to hang onto except screen sucks imo .
If i remember correctly there will be no dedicated headphone jack :( , (What are you doing Sony ! ) .
If its chubby but has a decent battery , that is a good thing in my book .
if the pics of the xz2 premium are right , i would have prefered the finger print sensor up a tad , but its not a deal breaker.
The one thing that does pee me off is , Sony officially announces the phone in mid april and gives no set date to its release .

Cant deny that slim phone is great, nobod... moreIndeed. When I first saw the official photos of the XZ2 I was very disappointed by the design. But the phone isn't really that thick in real life and second, I'd rather have a 1.5 - 2 cm thick phone with great battery, than those slim phones that die on you after half an hour of YouTube or torrent download.
Not to mention that a phone that slim will bend and brake if you have it in your pocket and try to bend or sit.
As long as Sony will not put one of those garbage notches on their phones, I'll keep buying their high-end flagships.
Currently using XZ C6603 & XZP and I have to say that as a power user, Sony phones are the best.
Even if I use Japanese phones, I don't really embrace their culture like the moron a few comments down says, actually I have a little war with them because they keep killing hundreds of whales, dolphins and sharks EVERY DAY!
But I'd still buy a Sony instead of a china wannabe replika without blinking..

I would rather be that immature kid than to submit to your definition of ... moremost xperia users are indeed non-japanese people who want to be japanese. they are obsessed with "anything from japan". they style their hairs like japanese, watch anime and read manga everyday, and love to dress like japanese (wearing kimono, etc).

Not to mention, every single time a new phone is introduced, comments like " not gonna buy, at least 4500 mah" or "Why do companies make it out of glass? I'm not going to buy this ". It seriously irritates me. We don't know how difficult it is to make a phone, so we shouldn't give crap to the companies for not hitting all of our expectations. And for the love of God, people, just get over the fact that there is no more removable battery. I know it sucks, but yelling and cursing about it ain't gonna change a damn thing.
