Seriously, Apple is just always late in the game. ... moreWell, iOS 12 (or soon after) does have a really bad feature: API.
Apparently, in order to push developers to use the Apple Metal API (which is really good btw, slightly better than Vulkan but less compatible) they are going to kill the cross-compatible graphics APIs such as OpenGL and OpenCL for both iOS and OS X systems. It makes sense from the perspective of Apple, but I wished they could've at least given a second-class citizen support to Vulkan.
Otherwise, it means developers will need to think twice before developing games, especially higher-end ones like Indie ones. They can choose to develop one, like Vulkan, which will work on PS4, Android, Linux, Windows. Or they can choose to develop the same game TWICE or THRICE with the options of Vulkan, Metal, DirectX.

Seriously, Apple is just always late in the game. But why are they so popular on their "new improved innovations" they say? Even if they're ripping off those copy pasted things?

Great, you can add a second person to the FaceID, but have you already forgotten it still can't tell the difference between twins, parents and young kids, or some Chinese people? Even if it's harder to fool, fingerprint scanner is more reliable.
One more feature missing: adjustable post processing in the camera: ability for photo apps to shoot pictures and have control over noise reduction and sharpening. I miss having camera apps given control over this, like Snap Camera HDR on Android phones where you can achieve almost RAW quality when switching off sharpening and noise reduction without the tediousness of having to 'develop' RAW files. As it is now, when pixel peeping, my iPhone 8 Plus is not better than my ASUS PadFone S from 2014.
"The app switcher now allows you to swipe apps away without the need to hold down on them first"
A few months later apple sues Google for using that in android.
