A quadcore arm at 2.5ghz is only as fast as cor... moredont compare the processors are used on lap and mob..they are made seperately for. TAKING DEMANDS of both lap and mob usage..can we use mob prcssr on lap or vice versa??????but the SPEED IS MATTER youu stupid ..a mobile phone can achieve its 2.5 ghz speed as provided ,as well as a laptop achieve its 2.5ghz also..if the usage load on borh are same then you were correct.but think a mobile doesn't need much LOAD WORK THAN A LAP..so it can easily achieve speedier than a lap. on a quad core ..

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2011Quad Core ? I love technology but Seriously this is ridiculous. Do you really need a quad cor... morenope, my n8 at 690mhz cpu with the leaked symbian belle is quite fast and handles things at smooth rate.... So why use a 2ghz cpu for a mobile redicules don't you think?

Well 28 Nano Meter Chips would be more powerfull and less power hungry 2250mAh battery should do the needful.. bigger and hi resolution display is a candy for its main customers who like to play games and watch movies.

Samsung keep the sames as the sgs2 which is 4.3 or 4.5 the highest with the 1024*1080 qvga with the mali t604 gpu processor a15 cortex quad core 2.0 ghz 1.5 or 2.0 gb of ram

2Ghz is quite possible, qualcomm is already talking about 2.5Ghz for next year. tablets and smartphones will soon be more powerful than current pc's, just give it time

well, even if it were an octa-core cpu it doesn't mean it is as "powerful" as a desktop or server cpu with the same amount of cores. It is just the advantage of parallelism which is used.

This is too big for a phone, maximum display size for a phone should be 4,3 inches, because any larger than that will be uncomfortable to use with one hand.

what were they thinking!!! it has a ridiculous amount of power ( the same as my laptop core i7-2630m and i think the battery will last about the same ie. 2-4hrs most ) the screen size is ok in a way so is the resolution but i still can't get why are they doing this...........
