If they put again high price nobody would consider buying it with all the cheaper alternatives. Doesnt matter if its pro or not, must be lower price.

i think sony mobile wants to get doomed as its laptop segment, they dont care what customers want and make ugly devices which no one is gonna buy or see. R.I.P sony.

This thread shows how many people don't have a clue about tech and only want to follow the trend like sheep. Why do you all want the notch? Stop complaining about the bezels, you won't die. The fingerprint scanner is placed in the back, so Sony can actually sell phones with a fingerprint scanner in places like the US. Remember when they had their fingerprint scanner on their home button at the sides? Well they couldn't do that for the US. If this phones runs smoothly and provides a great experience, it shouldn't be judged by it's design which IMO is a breath of fresh air amongst thin-bezel phones and notched phones.

Thst is why giant screens of microLED already exists, oled sucks and will die before LCD.
By the way, all QHD phones are running 1080p apps too.
Any app can only run above 1080p if the dev gives support.
Sony apps run 4K, but 3rd part apps are FHD.

Maybe there are still people that like the bezels. I like it. It makes the phone a lot stronger. My Xperia Z5 compact has hit the ground a few times and not even a crack in the screen.

Well somebody might like this design, but for me BIG NO. And finger scanner is at very bad place. Only spec can pull you out Sony that somebody might buy this phone, 6 GB of RAM and 128 gb of ROM. And if price is affordable around 450/500 euros.
