KMB877, 06 Jun 2018It's not TCL's fault, it is BB's. Do you remember DTEK series? Why each one was $150 more than... moreRemember this wont have a Alcatel counterpart this time because is one of BB signature phones and because of that i think the price shouldnt be so high.

You can grab a Nokia 7 Plus for almost half of this is the dame SoC, and almost same specs but not the crazy 3:4 screen and the keyboard wich i think even the old school boys didnt want to just to keep memory's.

DTEK50 and DTEK60 was a great make for both brands (alcatel & BB) and they should keep it...

Good, good. No complaints about pricing, since this is a company preserving the fancy keyboard feature with full time warranty!

Why each one was $150 more than equivalent Alcatel? Because BB has a huge overhead. The price justification is "for software", "for security"...
However, why not band 71? T-mobile started the deployment already.

Yep, overpriced and overrated. This time they'll be lucky if accomplish to sell half of the phones they sold profiting the hype of the Key1.

'cause iJunk replace the CEO's and some professionals Blackberry, the old ones before iJunk came so, is just me or see iJunkys on the hand of CEO's and men's after all classify them as "girly looking person"?!

Because for all points of view, iJunk is all about girls, is a girl phone and that explain the outdated hardware or features, most girls doesnt care about that.

SohailSays, 06 Jun 2018Rofl at pricing. Takes a lot of R&D and money to build an android phone with a fancy physical keyboard. This is not your average Xiaomi phone.

The premium is warranted. There are loads of cheaper options available to customers. This phone caters to a niche segment, i.e business users with utility more important than cost.

This is not the phone for 15 year old teenagers to play Dead Trigger on.

A good phone with extremely insane price tag. It will be slightly less in price when launched in India. Yet it's price tag will be at par to any handset with 830+ series SoC.
I will wait and watch. Motorola Z3 play has same SoC ( sans keypad). It's price will definitely be lesser.
I love Blackberry, but would prefer for a logical tag. OR rather spend some more grands and buy an iPhone.

This doesn't look like a big improvement. Aside from the CPU, what is improved? I can't really say the camera is better because the primary sensor is smaller than the KeyOne, and the secondary sensor is even smaller.

3:2 is much better for websites and documents and makes sense for a work focused phone. I would love to work with a wider phone with good specs. The ipad aspect ratio also works better for the same purposes.

The stupid extra long displays in vogue these days are useless for work...
