Kiyasuriin, 07 Jun 2018I agree. It was a flawless phone. (Not that I used it on my own. But it has everything I neede... moreAnd the almost plastic like build that it seems like you're holding a cheap phone. But overall, that was the V20 of LG that also made it as the last perfect smartphones of all time.
AnonD-122899, 07 Jun 2018On the bright side, there is no stupid notch and there are true bezel-less design on the sides... moreOfcourse it'll stay, it keeps the features of the S series.
I wish for a UDFPS, or atleast a symmetrical appearance on the back.
Anonymous, 07 Jun 2018Samsung cutting costs to sell it for 1000 $ like Note 8 ! CLEVERHow do you know it'll sell for 1,000$? show me a proof.
Anonymous, 07 Jun 2018Without an sd slot (And no removable battery). Note 4 was the last Note, anything after that ... moreI agree. It was a flawless phone. (Not that I used it on my own. But it has everything I needed sans compact size)
Anonymous, 07 Jun 2018Price it as oneplus 6 and there no competition. It won't. We could expect the lowest price of Note9 as the same as the initial Note8 launch price.
Anonymous, 07 Jun 2018Note 5 was last true Note with 16/9 flat screen.Without an sd slot (And no removable battery).
Note 4 was the last Note, anything after that is useless.
Keeping the same design as last year is a great strategy. When Note X will be launched next year, everyone will have a nice surprise and will keep talking about it. 👍✌️Kudos to Samsung.
Price it as oneplus 6 and there no competition.
Anonymous, 06 Jun 2018if apple can do it for 3 years why cant samsung do it for 2 lol, true xD
Samsung cutting costs to sell it for 1000 $ like Note 8 !
CLEVER
Note 5 was last true Note with 16/9 flat screen.
Fine by me; the Note8 is a great looking phone and there's only so many way to design a slab of glass without going wacky and have a notch.
On the bright side, there is no stupid notch and there are true bezel-less design on the sides. I hope the 3.5mm hack is retained as well. Kudos to Samsung on this.
At least there won't be a notch, although the Edge screen and the ridiculous aspect ratio are not less ridiculous and one of the reasons i'd never buy a Galaxy. Along with the crappy batteries (Note 8, in some scenarios, lasts even less than the iPhones) and the unstable roms. And the crappy speakers.
Nothing wrong with note 8 design. They can use the same design
I don't see a problem with keeping the design, it's fine - how much creativity can you have with a rectangular slab of metal+glass anyway?
Just hope that they can re-align the camera and fingerprint scanner to mirror those on the S9s.
Yup. Don't fix what isn't broken!
Bigger battery will be a huge ups for the Note9. Kudos for Samsung by listening its customers!
Someone Else, 06 Jun 2018Apple kept the same design for 4 years. Sony kept the same design since the first Z series. So... moreApple has a cult following it doesn't' care, samsung on the other hand has a cut throat amount of competitors on the rise, i mean, just look at huawei and xiaomi's market share for the past few months, you would see they're encroaching into samsung's market and not apple
It's good that they didn't jump on the notch bandwagon like every other phone company ,anyways I feel Samsung phones are overpriced for what they offer ,now they will sell note 9 at much more inflated price even though it's just looks like the note 8
The Note shouldn't have been an 18:9 phone. That aside, I'm okay with companies keeping the same design
