Samsung S9+ cost 379 dollars to make which is 312 euros but sells for 950 eur average price.
After a year it will cost like present S8 plus which is 550 average price and they will still make a profit.
Even S7 edge which cost around 450 eur brand new makes a 200 eur profit for Samsung.
Robing innocent people and making profit is a 2 different things.
Samsung rob people where xiaomi sells best quality for most possible affordable price.
In other words Samsung sells less for more and Xiaomi much more for much less.
So at the end of the annum Xiaomi will make much more profit than Samsung because they dont rob people.
But iof course person with NO or bare education have no clue.

From when expensive means quality?
Havign Tommy Hilfinger leather messenger bag for over a year and half paid 100 eur for that and its get used after 2 months despite i wear it only to work and back. Now after a 18 months a letter missing from brand some parts of leather are worn some more and are heavily visible.
Samsung is same. Samsung is company where i can say its like an better audi with a motor from peugeot 206 or something like that.
Look at A6+ series 380 eur for an SD450 very funny.
And the Samsung quality from Note 7 we saw how quality is Samsung.
A6+ same high price for low end CPU and GPU J series as well.
A6 regular using 3 years old chipset.
And S9+ cost 950 eur. If i compare it with Mi8 explorer which cost half the price the phone is much better in many aspects.
In case of Samsung you pay for a Samsung sticker on it.
Where is Quality? In case of Samsung people waiting 1 year for oreo those who had S8 and over 2 years those who had S7.
In case of Xiaomi Mui latest update got even a 8 years old devices.
You really had too much chocolate powder.
Try something else.
Because you looks either stupid or you really have no clue what do you talking about.
Kress, 11 Jun 2018They outperformed Samsung already. In making exact iPhone X copy. Xeromi. No matter who copy who.
All copy Motorola because it was Motorola who bring the first cell phone.
And it was Alexander Graham Bell who invented phone or the landline.
Like when T.A. Edison invented Lightbulb and from then companies like Osram, Phillips etc copy.

Xiaomi's MIUI is tailored for a Chinese user. The design, the user experience, the built-in apps. Oh, and they don't care about compatibility with non-Chinese apps as well.
Mi A1 and Mi A2, on the other hand, are aimed at international customers, and they are pretty good at it.

Tell me anyone who will sell products without profit? So compromises has to be made
i will never again buy Xiaomi with MIUI....had 4 of those, and that was more than enough.
only pure android comes in matter...
if you ever need to contact and get some help from their "support" you'll find out why.
you can get much more help from community at miui forums, but there is so much brainwashing, that it hurts.

But here in my country, they only have 2 major stores but they sell all of their products, both flagship and mid range phones, in which I actually bought my own Xiaomi phone there.
They are also looking forward to build more stores in our country.
Its obvious that cheap stuff sells better , But is it actually a phone without Compromise , Not Really , Have to cut corners Somewhere.
Ascorth, 10 Jun 2018They already did, look redmi series, mi mix series and mi series (mi3 to mi6 mi8EE, mi8SE) I said SIGNATURE design not an 'generic' or iPhone X copied design. The Mi Mix 1 and 2 is the only phone from them that we can say at lest is not copied from any other brands.
Shanti Dope, 10 Jun 2018And I can guarantee, this chipset will be used by Xiaomi for 3 straight years, just like what ... moreSD710 is impressive for mid range if its used for 3 years it wont hurt SD625 is not great its ok and lacking for modern games so itns not bad at all its like they are using SD835 for mid range

I mean, it's possible to compare Mi A1 and Mi A2 to OP, but everything else is tailored to a Chinese user, while OP targets the global audience.
Anonymous, 10 Jun 2018Official Xiaomi stores sell their products only within the countries they're located in.
H... moreI wasn't talking about Xiaomi stores. My country doesn't have any official store but we have four online shops (without Amazon) which sell xiaomi phones and other stuff from them. And some of these shops deliver not only within my country. But neither of them have the new phones on stock. The 8SE just went on sale two days ago in China so you gotta wait a bit.
Tradingshenzhen is too expensive. Some of these prices are ridiculous although support is great. If I were you get if from an EU seller. That's what I'm doing. No hassle with warranty and stuff. I might get the Mi Mix 2s.

Honorbuy has the SE in their selection, but I've heard only nasty things about it. Tradingshenzhen offers it too, and luckily they have good reviews. From aliexpress it's possible through numerous shops, but that's already riskier. Ebay is out of question. Amazon doesn't produce any search results with. Mi 8 SE yet.
Also, I think none of these shops have any inventory, atleast not yet and I'm dying to get one.
suckmyNOtch, 10 Jun 2018The SE is the absolute best price/performance phone in the sub $300 segment wow, super impress... moreWell said.
And you know what, Xiaomi doesn't actually make a lot of money by selling smartphones. Most of their profit actually comes from their 3rd party software services, primarily their MIUI, which is why I would actually say that they're on par with Apple when it comes to support (although this is just an iteration of MIUI and not Android version). I receive regular updates from my Redmi 5 Plus; far more than some flagships would ever receive in their whole lifespan, and the support for every Xiaomi phone is just absolutely warming, with so many people helping Xiaomi phone users with their phones through the MIUI forum.
Back to the main deal, Xiaomi is no doubt the new OnePlus of the modern era. What I wish is that such companies like them will never die, because they keep telling the world that a great phone doesn't have to be a very expensive one. A quality product doesn't always need to cost more than it should.

Not saying it's a bad thing, but I feel like it's a very redundant move.
why do people love the MI8 SE midranger more then the MI8 flagship?
because they HATE that fully copied iPhone ish design >:(
all so the SE has slimmer bezel with bigger screen on the sides of the notch
every thing else (beside the Face ID) is the same (None needs that flagship SoC you can run most apps with a midrange chipset)
