And if you try to jailbreak an iPhone, it will be full of glitches and bugs, while on Android it's exactly the opposite - assuming that you know what you're doing.
PS gamers are not power users. They're just regular users who spend more time playing that taking silly selfies to post on fb.
Power users develop games, codes, scripts.

Athull, 10 Jun 2018Why is the number flaling for both Qualcomm and Mediatek since 2014? Seems rather strange.The number is basically the number of models produced that year. Unlike 2014, most companies now rely on producing few models instead of making 10+ models with their mini counterparts. Samsung and huawei are probably the only ones increasing their arsenal of models.

Apple - it's good for the regular users, BUT a nightmare prison for power users.
I don't care how good it is as long as the os is so restricted. In the end it's all about the software experience. It sux!
MediaTek - 95% of these are found in chinese brands - NO THANKS! NOtch Interested! Bleahh!
Exynos - found only on the S line of Samsung - BUT I hate their edge displays and extra bloatware.
Snapdragon - THE BEST!

Most popular is snapdragon... moreyou didn't know much about mobile chipset, don't you? the most efficient SoC is SD845, it has the highest value for performance per wattage. Apple's A11 come in next, it did has the best CPU, but it also throttle hard and doesn't perform well on sustained workload, not to mention it's GPU are years behind Adreno. Then come Kirin 970, I'd argue Exynos 9810 are better, but it's performance under stress are subpar with M3 cores aren't exactly tuned for what it is capable. The only thing that save it are it's GPU, which has more cores than Kirin's. I decline to comment about MTK X30, because it didn't has any successor.

Best of all is A11 bionic made by apple.
Most used is Mediatek.
Most popular is snapdragon.
And most fastest and reliable for android device is latest Kirin.
But in cas they would continue and make a proper researchs and developement TEGRA would easily outpreform any other device on the market even A11 bionic would be like a worm against Buggati Chiron.

Since a LOT of chine... moreWell the graph depict the number of MODELS not the number of DEVICES, this means that the most and least popular device both count as 1 in the statistics...
So actually it is just bad statistics that says almost nothing.... as much as I hate the iCrooks, the almost zero placement in the graph is a clear indication of how little real information you can draw from the graph - as he has noted in the text for aPple though.
And even if scaled to number of specimens sold, it would still not really tell much. As some would have high profits and thus be much more interesting than those sold with a low profit.
But as some chips are used internally (aPple, Huawei, Samsung) it would be hard to set a fair price in the calculation, for how much of the device's profit should be attributed to the chipset...?
