Apple would be much better off if it got rid of half it's legal department. Given the total lack of wireless communication expertise and innovation at Apple, they will loose a long term patent war in the mobile device arena. Without copying Google by acquiring a bevy of IP, they have no chance.

The patent game, is a horribly non-productive, enterprise with many looser's. Court are notorious for making decision that seem independent to the merits of the case. Lawyers make a comfortable salary, everybody else looses. Most companies know this, and use discretion in defending there IP. Apple seems to lack this wisdom.

Apple, due to its sheer nonsense and control freak nature has found itself in a rather awkward situation here. And this might have great repercussions on the sale of iphone 5. Surely, what goes around comes around. And what the heck is taking them so long to release their device; not that we are so willing to see let alone buy it, but to find out if the spell-bound i-maniacs will be carrying fans to cool down the A5 chip, or at least tune into their favourite FM station. Heck! Even share a song via Bluetooth. Samsung has really kicked @$$ this time around with SGII, and if rumours are to be believed, SGIII is on the way.

IOSIF, 19 Sep 2011If my memory serves me well this legal war launched by Apple following the tremendous success ... moreNo, galaxy tablets are far from success and future doesn't look any better. 85% wants iPad second biggest is galaxy tab and only 4% want's it.

Galaxy s2 has sold very well, but not tablets.

Samsung fear iPhone 5 and i don't blame them. When iPhone 5 comes it's going to sell so much more than any smartphone out there and it's going to sell very long time.

No one will expect that Samsung will not counter attack and stay idle on the accusations of Apple.
