Still 10,1 mm thick and 183g so nothing stylish or light. An overpriced brick without audio jack, without OIS, only 5,7" and small battery for a hungry SoC. Luckily for Sony even with low sales they have their console junkies to buy their overrated products, to babble and to speculate on the internet that they are the best even if it is all false and a scam. Like here where they charge you 800 euros for the XZ2 with a mediocre camera, potbellied phone, no eardbuds inside the box! just with a ridiculous usb cable and then pretend to sell you aside an expensive double adapter that does not even support fast charging if you want to charge the phone while playing.

NO NOTCH, lighter, thinner, SD card, build quality, support, unlockable bootloader... I'm IN.. If we get OIS and the good old side FP (I know most probably not due to some restrictions in the US) then is a bonus.

Zenodroid, 07 Jun 2018Only ip68? Sony moved away from the dual resistance? When the phone is already IP68 rated, it automatically also means to have IP65 dust resistance rating.
When people talk about water resistance, it's usually just the water rating that gets mentioned and not the dust protection, but it doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't have it.

Every company does it. They just change the name with different alphabet but still their intention is to sell 2 similar flagships a year with very small upgrade. Identical internals with slightly better camera
Samsung with S and Note, today's difference is just stylus
Huawei with P and Mate or Mate and P by chipset used, today's difference is what? i dont know
Lg with G and V, today's different is oled vs lcd
1+ with regular and T, idk the difference
And many more.
Just because Sony uses the same naming scheme/alphabet for its first and second half year flagships, doesnt mean Sony cant do what another companies do with their different alphabets, that is to release 2 phones a year

Kiyasuriin, 07 Jun 2018I absulutely hope soI wouldn't mind of they bring at least cd quality lossless on wireless.
I would say its their half step to triple cams, and to bring back better selfie again, ones on xz2's went really bad(f/2.2, 1/5").
Though bad sales could be from missing jack, thickness sure play role too, maybe next gen will be about that(small hope).
