we need fashionable phone! Since I have so many powerbank with large pack of capacity, larger capacity phones seems useless for me and also, I could charge my phones at my work too. so basic! Larger capacity is just a gimmick by the Chinese OEM. Just a whole day of usage may satisfy most of the falks.
I also want a slimmer phone with removable battery.
marq, 11 Jun 2018Larger capacity battery is always better. You will get used to thickness and weight in no time... moreYep i don't see iPhone users complaining of the iPhone 8 plus's 200g. Nobody cares about weight, even iPhone users (And most of the people who csre about form and looks are the iPhone users). There are always exceptions, but certainly there is a huge market for big batteries. Of course, combined with 3.5mm jack and good specs.
I was hoping that the majority of people would side with me on this issue. I went ahead and voted here for the large battery option, and as of the time I voted, 79% of voters did so too.
what we do after we won't have battery left in mobile
now we introduce 20000mAh power bank can full fill your thin mobile battery 6x times - JOKE
Anonymous, 11 Jun 2018Shove your battery compaints, 1 day is enough. Give me sleek light phones with minimal bezels ... moreYou won't get a day (Of any usage. With no compromises) without at least a 4000 mah battery and even then the phone will have to be extremely well optimized. And if you do get exactly a day, it will only be when the phone/battery is brand new. One year later it will already be less.
Larger capacity battery is always better. You will get used to thickness and weight in no time.
When I browse for new phone, I always check the battery capacity.
zodiacfml, 11 Jun 2018Another of your silly surveys. When was the last time someone complained that one's phone is t... moreWell tell that to manufacturers. They are completely out of touch with reality, there's total insanity among them. But unfortunately they don't care about these polls either.
Celoxocis, 10 Jun 2018another Lenovo P2 lover here ;-)
smaller battery's are build into the phones by OEMs solely... moreYep. It's not just a matter of being able to last the day without recharging. Even if you can with a smaller battery, it will still degrade faster, because you will use, say, 0.8 cycles a day and with a bigger one, you'll use 0.5, for example.
Plus, using fast charge makes it degrade faster and if you battery is guaranteed to last the day, you don't need fast charging. Even 5 or 6 hours won't be a day - you'll sleep at least as much time.
Mate 10/Pro and P20 Pro even has 4000 mah battery with slick design without having thick mm.
Another of your silly surveys. When was the last time someone complained that one's phone is too thick?
Even if you don't need the big battery, it will ensure that you don't need to replace it until your next upgrade.
Anonymous, 11 Jun 2018I love weekly charging, philips phone is the best for that.
Hopefully motorola invent new bat... moreyeah, Xenium series...
too bad i have to dispose mine off when 2G networks was closed here in my country...
AnonD-120291, 11 Jun 2018there isnt any excuse, i had the galaxy note 8 with a pretty poor 3300mAh battery? and i also ... moreNote8 has a smaller battery because the S-pen takes up a lot of room. And we all know what happened when they tried to make the battery much bigger (Note7 battery problems).
Jimbob of Jonestown, 11 Jun 2018Bigger battery. Phones are by definition slim. What do you want? Bloody papercuts? That sli... moreThen you should get a Doro, they last days. And let other people have cool, thin, light futuristic looking phones.
Shove your battery compaints, 1 day is enough. Give me sleek light phones with minimal bezels instead that last me from morning to evening, YOU HAVE ACCESS TO AN OUTLET EVEREYDAY. Jeez your'e not going on an expedition to the Amazon or some outlandish adventure in the wild.. Get real.
Everyone is home ir at least near a socket each evening, right? So stop complaining about battery, you look stupid
Let the s9 Active get released everywhere. Then we shall see. Id love to buy it. No compromise, just a great battery and a top spec device.
Why not both?
A 5" phone with a 4000 to 4500mAh battery and only around 1cm thick is fine. However, if the phone is so excessively thick, like 6 to 7 cm thick, then it becomes cumbersome.
I love weekly charging, philips phone is the best for that.
Hopefully motorola invent new battery that last long, faster to charge, since most innovation come from motorola
bigger, removable battery!
