"Apple has taken a stance against law agencies to safeguard user data" - really??
Rather to safeguard terrorists and drug dealers data - in my opinion.
Used to think iOS was unbreakable but guess i was wrong....GreyKey version 10 coming to override all this...Lol
AnonD-558092, 14 Jun 2018What do you want to backup with a 5GB of iCloud?15 in my case ^^; and the usual stuff, home overlay, apps, cslls, messages, etc. Photos are backed up in google photos and music is in my android
Anonymous, 14 Jun 2018Who do you pay for the Unlocking options? There are two ways, either goes official route by going to apple store and bring proof of purchase or goes illegal by swapping motherboard(even better if you are in china and can replace just the flash, provided you have local store that can do it and have unused apple firmware lying around)

A good hacker can hack even a ministry of d... moreYes if the phone in active state(mean is being used by the owner) since exploit can be done with DNS etc. But then you still can't do much to dig data
In this case it's when the iphone is locked, as much as i don't want to admit it, apple done a great job on securing the phone. It's near impossible to brute force your way to the device, the only way is by graykey(which seem unusable now) and motherboard swap(mean also swapping the flash memory) , but by swapping components it will hinder so much functionality since every component (touchID, faceID, screen, etc) is tied to the motherboard, mean while the phone work, majority of the feature will be unusable, at worst, the screen won't even function
And no, flashing modified kernel won't do, it just softbrick the phone until a genuine kernel is flashed
There's pretty much no way around locked iPhone, except for Apple themself
Well, that's how business works; pretend and market your product as super secure and give secretly give the keys to someome else.
Apple tells government source codes and then they safely ban graykey devices to stop hackers.
Who do you pay for the Unlocking options?
Well i guess this makes the iphone the safest device on the planet. Oh wait we still have hardware hacking.
