Anonymous, 14 Jun 2018Who do you pay for the Unlocking options?There are two ways, either goes official route by going to apple store and bring proof of purchase or goes illegal by swapping motherboard(even better if you are in china and can replace just the flash, provided you have local store that can do it and have unused apple firmware lying around)

In this case it's when the iphone is locked, as much as i don't want to admit it, apple done a great job on securing the phone. It's near impossible to brute force your way to the device, the only way is by graykey(which seem unusable now) and motherboard swap(mean also swapping the flash memory) , but by swapping components it will hinder so much functionality since every component (touchID, faceID, screen, etc) is tied to the motherboard, mean while the phone work, majority of the feature will be unusable, at worst, the screen won't even function
And no, flashing modified kernel won't do, it just softbrick the phone until a genuine kernel is flashed
There's pretty much no way around locked iPhone, except for Apple themself
