hrishi, 22 Sep 2011people will loose their faith in smasung i bought s2 just before 2 months and now they ve come... moreExactly! Samsung is creating buyer's remorse. As soon as you shell out big bucks for their flagship, it's Trumped in two weeks. Now that GS2 is in The States (as a 6 month old phone), they mention Nexus. Now that Nexus is close by, they mention Note. They will never fully realize the full sales potential of any of these devices if they keep doing this. They're simply creating dissatisfied customers. I know if I buy iPhone 5 I will have the best of iOS for a year. I might just do that to punish Samsung.
only for businessmans wich travel in the rear seat of a car, wich are always with clean hands and always have enaugh pockets to carry such a little monster. for regular people this is useless. my sgs2 with 4,3 inch is more than enaugh and i will never buy a smartphone bigger than 4,5 inch. even my 4,3 display of sgs2 is hard to use with one hand, practically impossible. sincerelly i miss my nokia 6700 everyday
too big for a normal everyday use. all smartphones that overcome 4,5 inch lcd diagonal are useless for everyday use. imagine you drive and you must answer at this huge device. you must leave the wheel to answer. and where you put it??? no,it is already too big. 4,5 inch is the last frontier for smartphones. why not talk at a 7 inch or 10 inch tablet instead??
Once I get my hands on the Galaxy note and yes im from the US!(dont mind the price, I still buy it!)
I would try to put a tmobile prepaid sim(30$ monthly 1500 mins & text) with the millinecom BYOD 70$ plan and advanced plan 60$ plan for my data uses!
people will loose their faith in smasung i bought s2 just before 2 months and now they ve come with new one.what is wrong with samsung
I strongly agree with Koku. If only we could have Samsung hardware running iOS or even better, or Android became as stable and reliable as the iOS (at least it has flash and all websites still use flash...) That would be the best phone/tablet ever. iPhone screen is too small. Try to book a hotel using a regular PC website and you will start to feel dizzy.. iPad screen is great, but who would carry that heavy thing around all the time??
[deleted post]The hardware on N9 is more than a year old, and the only reason to buy N9 is MeeGo, but when the initial hype is gone and users become angry over not enough apps and not enough official support from Nokia and users always have to find updates and fixes by themself on the Internet, very risky!, like software for the FM-radio-hardware..., then users will abandon MeeGo just as they did get bored with and leave Maemo!
Note uses PenTile, so the subpixels are a third less than it would be on a "real" 1280x800 screen!
I am really excited about this phone. THANK YOU SAMSUNG.I really admire Samsung's strategy of having a phone across different ranges ie 3.7, 4.5 & now 5.3 inches in their galaxy phone ranges. They have the same range for tablets ie the new 7.7 inches,8.9 & 10.1.That way people can go for the size they want. So I dont really understand why people are saying this phone is too big. If this phone is too big to you , it sure means it is not meant for you so look for the size you want and stop all this whinning. Thumbs up Samsung. One thing though, there is no confirmation about this phone getting Ice Cream Sandwich Android update when it is released before the end of the year ???????

Perfect phone for people like me. I don't phone much, but I spend a LOT of time on my phone to read my ebooks and access the Internet. If it can fit a pocket and can be occasionally used as a phone, it's the perfect sized phone for me.
