Think about if iPhone did get BBM on the new iPhone for BB. BB could try to make some sort of deal with apple that if iPhone Next Gen gets that function then BB could try to make some sort of arrangement with apple so that they can access the app store. Could be pretty beneficial.

I agree with the specs but not with the BBM on Apple iPhone... c'mon man... that really freaking insane to think that BBM is the flagship social app of RIM
and if that would be available on Apple then definitely nobody would buy BB Torch or Playbook righr?

[deleted post]Might not need Flash for long anyway. Adobe themselves have acknowledged that Apple was right regarding Flash on mobile devices and announced Flash Media Server. Also Flash 11 and AIR also tackles this on mobile devices. Soon it won't be only Apple, but even Android devices taking the same route to take advantage of better battery life and performance.

I doubt that BBM will make it to iOS cuz iOS 5 has iMessage so it will be stupid to get both in one device besides blackberry fame was made cuz of BBM so no point of sharing this with a competitive company like apple

monkey, 23 Sep 2011i dont think blacberry is so stupid to allow apple to use their bbm service, obviously people ... moreWith RIM's nextgen phones still months away and losing 25% of their capitalization maybe a big enough stack of cash would tempt them to open the doors to BBM and BES. Licensing can be very lucrative.

Guys, there's the iPhone 4S, which is an update to the current iPhone 4 but without the bugs and the antenna issues, etc, and will come with iOS 5.
Also, there will be iPhone 5, which, hence the name, will be having iOS 5, and will have a wider screen display.
There are some speculations whether both will be 4G, or just iPhone 5 that will be 4G.
Both phones should be released the very same time (just lets hope they get released in both colors at the same time)
Now, regarding having BBM on it, guess Apple finally realized that building technology that works on their phone ONLY is pretty useless (like FaceTime), and decided to merge services with THE most popular instant Mobile Chat system (using BIS).
I personally doubt BES will be supported, as the main reason behind it is getting just the Messenger services.
If this is the case, Apple will win a larger market portion for those who are using BlackBerry's, want to shift to iPhones, but don't want to loose the BBM.
On the other hand, BlackBerry OS 7 is a step by BlackBerry to their newer OS developed by QNX, which should be their new generation of OSes -- like that on the PlayBook, which should make things look pretty cool on the BlackBerry's.
Besides, I think they did a tremendous job in their new BlackBerry collection, from standard keyboard/keypad, going through the touch-and-type, and ending with the complete touch phones.

i dont think blacberry is so stupid to allow apple to use their bbm service, obviously people will buy more iphone rather then the small slow crappy blackberry it self!
