The person posted the original post said it is simply misunderstanding. He never once mentioned it is chrome gold, but just took a picture of silver XZ2 premium under the warm yellow lighting, and said it is western media misunderstood him.

Wish they release this dream of a smartphone camera ASAP in Europe... I can imagine that the forest blue colour would also fit for this phone very nice.

it looks like the silver chrome color with the incadescent light giving the yellow tint hence giving a gold hue

According to my view this is not Gold. Silver one ( already released)
that phone colour change with the light effect and it reflect as Gold. thats what i see

I wish they used a plastic back like the one of XZ2C, looks much better. Glass backs suck.
Oh, and I wish I bought the green one. The latest Xperia line is one of the few cases where black is not the best option available.
