Whackcar, 19 Jun 2018Nothing is impossible buddy. Just give it time. We will have fully bezelless phones by 2020. Thats noot possible there must been something which will hold front and back of the screen.
Unless they make an egg. Or for the pottom of the screen so all the phone will be like one glass which will be totaly ugly.

Huawei better releases this phone in a few months and not just talk and showing patents. Be aggresive and fast like Vivo and Oppo. BBK is a no joke company outing phone commercially as quickly as they shown their concept. Huawei should try to live up to that expectation too.

Back to the phone: 2018/9 will be the years when phones break faster than anything.
Even a tiny drip could mean a visit to service centers, good news for companies since this is not covered by warranty.
Give me a 1-2 mm bezel of rubber and plastic covered by the metal body and I'd feel a bit secure.

This is an Apple patent borrowed by Huawei. The Chinese patent world allows copies of everything. That's why there are Chinese car manufacturers that make 99% cloned versions of European cars and just put their brands on them.

sony haven't done anythingSamsung done nothing as well.
Samung infinity diplay with curved screen cost too much to repair despite its manufacturing price is roughly 14 euros.
Anyway curved screen is ugly and slippery.
Thus to my opinion.
Huawei innovate Motorola Innovate even Lenovo or xiaomi Innovate.
Sony LG HTC did again nothing.

Apple won't respect that patent because they didn't get it first. They patented Samsung's folding oled tech ffs. But good on Huawei, showing fat dog the bones are up for grabs still.
