Mi Max 2 User, 23 Jun 2018If you own one, you'll never go back. Take it from someone who has 5 smartphones to date.Wow 5 smartphones, legend... not. Most people have had more smartphones than that unless your still a teenager.
I am so waiting for this, to upgrade at last!
After max brightness on Mi Max 1 was finally addressed by firmware update, I had no second thoughts skipping the slower on the CPU and otherwise similar Mi Max 2; still, using single smartphone well over a year is no fun!
p.s. mine runs LineageOS, with Google HDR+ camera port for decent photos of course. It's overall great, but I definitely want bigger screen, for better productivity and all. \=

oh ya, 20 Jun 2018max?? i think this one is no longer relevant, while the normal smartphone already have 6-6.5 inch.. The screen is now practically 7 inches tall. And the battery is larger than most regular phones.
The Max series usually targets the screen size and battery life. Performance though is still questionable since Max 2 has a lower Snapdragon processor than Max 1.
But so far, I like it very much. So, do robbers and snatchers.
Dude, 20 Jun 2018I hope they fixed the display on this one, because in the Mi Max 2 the grey/black values suckedNever experienced that problem in my Mi Max 2.

I just wish they'd release it supporting bands 2, 4 and 13 :( :( :(
I want to purchase the Mi Max 3 if following criteria match.
7 inch screen and minimum 400 resolution.
Dual stereo speaker.
Two sum card and extra dedicated micro sd card.
Snapdragon 710 processor
Minimum 5000 mh battery long last for two days.
Why does all the MI phones look the same! The same look got me so boring overtime!

It does have an ir blaster on the top.
And as usually you will be able to modify the headset speaker to work in stereo..not perfect but that speaker is very good on xiaomi devices.
optional, 20 Jun 2018no notch! :D Headphone jack! :D 6GB ram! :D 5,400mAh battery! :D This is perfect!!!Just make it dedicated MicroSD, IR and stereo speakers. That completes my next purchase. My LG V20 only lacks stereo speakers, looking to change now after 2 years.
So 1,8ghz means its use 636 not 710 like on mi max page. [Sigh]
Let's hope it has a 710 processor as that might further improve the battery efficiency which is the main selling point of this phone or should we now call it a tablet?
There is still some room for improvement in the bezel department. It has bezels on all sides. I hope companies start adapting some crazy ideas like the rear-camera-rotatable flap shown in this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5g0eFRHXiw or the likes of vivo nex or oppo find x.
Looking forward to this phone. This will probably almost have the same footprint as the Mi Max 2. Never liked 18:9 aspect ratio phones but I'll give exception to the Mi Max 3 because at such an oversized 6.9" display, it can seriously benefit hand holdability by having an elongated 18:9 NarrowView display. (Not like those 5.5-6.3" flagships in 18:9 aspect ratio that seriously don't need the elongation as most normal sized hands can actually handle those screen sizes even if they were in the standard 16:9 aspect ratio).
Kiyasuriin, 20 Jun 2018Max Series of Xiaomi uses S6xx series, so it's likely they will use SD636 as well (Also Octa C... moreI forgot that the 636 is actually an octa core 1.8 GHz. Then it's just Redmi Note 5 XL with some improvement here and there
