The delay is most possibly because asus was not able to tweak the cameras to compete with Mi note pro.

this model of asus its just advertisment for asus brand
the distribution of this model even in india are limited
the real version is asus zenfone 5 ze620kl

These phones are actually sold very cheap around half the retail price at electronic stores as generic phones but when companies like Asus(and micromaxx) put a logo on it then they charge for their logo.In the end it's just a cheap generic chinaphone with a branding to fool the naive.

Though, still slower than other phone. The camera is actually very good for its price range. Especially after the updates. The quality looks much punchier and more details. Selfie cam improved a lot too. No more softness and more detail. Surprisingly, there is stabilization option in the gallery after you took a video since there is no EIS. No ac wifi is not much a deal breaker. And I actually never seen the multi touch issue. This is all just base on my personal opinion. Dont take it by heart.

Apart from more RAM and memory, this also has a better set of cameras. Great buy for 15K INR to be honest. Battery and stock android makes it better than the Note 5 pro.
