So it's very useful when I go out and try to scan the raincode or when scanning the rocks of a cliff. It hurts a little but after I get to be scanned so it's ironic
okcnaline, 22 Jun 2018If there's no Pogo port then this phone is a waste. I believe the bottom section is a pogo port. Though no proof, or Certified
Specs Aside (that are absulutely laughable imo. But let's skip that) It's an interesting device. It can read barcodes Physically. And survive very crazy situations.

It's the best Rugged case I know. And it feels good too. (It comes also with a snap-on belt accessory. So your balls/Boat are safe from Radiation.

Anonymous, 22 Jun 2018Price aside, this flies in the face of those who insist that sealing the batteries are needed ... moreRemember the S5? That phone had rubber things to keep it water proof. And this phone is built like a tank with average specs, so it obviously is able to have the IP rating. The sealed phones also make the phone look nicer, which is what the main market cares about. I think an aluminum phone would be awesome, as sit can take a hit and you can still remove the battery. Sealed back phones still have pretty good battery life, so it's not hard to think if a future where we won't even prefer a removable battery.
Or just buy S8 Active or CAT phones but I rather buy Porsche Design Huawei Mate RS for that price
Barcode scanner is nice feature but for the price and specs you can get 10 of them to work in warehouse
For the price and specs this should survive a nuke bomb if they expect someone dumb enough to buy it for what ever reason. I dont get the point of this device for the price. Barcode scanner is useful in warehouse working and operating, but for the price you get 10 of them over this one that are not so fancy and rugged but do there job well enough.
And you could replace your broken flagship how many times before you spend the same amount?

If you are charging $1600, at least provide SD-660. It will not add much to the overall expense of making a phone , plus it will get you more consumers, so any loss on the price of a single device will be overcome by sales in volume.
I work in the construction business and this seems to be the perfect phone for me. I don't care much about the 5 inch 720p display , but SD210 does sound bad, because I need my phone to be snappy at all times. Guess I will just buy a very rugged case for my existing iPhone 7, instead of upgrading(I keep switching between Android and iOS).
