Its really a great Phone, one of the best innovation so far in the Mobile World today... However, they should have added a Fingerprint Scanner, which might have helped the Motorized Camera a alot.
Well... The Innovation at one side but Durability??... Everyone's interest might not replicate in the Sales... Even the 1000€ for Oppo and ColorOS? :-|

The camera motor mechanism definitely wont last esp that it doesnt have fingerprint, since you have to use facial unlock all the time.

....these are some of the phones which I thought were cutting edge and close to perfection upon release. The last entry could be for the ASUS RoG Phone, if that comes bundled with some of the accessories and has a low enough price (US$699) to overlook its flaws.

Yet another part to break.
I don't understand people. Many of us have become more averse to the smartphone bezel than Gluten in our food; it's ridiculous. All we've gotten as a result of this obsession with reducing the bezel are phones with notches, chins, and bound-to-be-unreliable mechanical parts...

Downside on this is that you always use the front camera ( no finger print sensor button. It only use face recognition system ( unless you dont want to use it and instead use the old style pin code/password/pattern locked )
Not like vivo nex model that has finger print sensor on the half bottom screen. Less camera mechanism use, less mechanism problem ( but still we dont know when willl it get bad or how long will it last this popup mechanism works!

The only phone with bezels big enough bother me is the Xperia XZ. If you can do better than that, or at least put some buttons and speakers there, it's fine. Ultra-narrow bezels are actually a hassle because the edges of the screen are fragile, it's difficult to interact with, and it means that stereo sound quality is bad. Want to impress me? LTE bands, headphone jack, microSD slot, and long battery life.

It really puts into perspective the amount of wasted space on the iPhone 8+. They both have the same ppi, yet the Find X has almost 1” more screen diagonally and is still slightly smaller. Come on apple, time to wake up your designers as they have been asleep far too long. Good on you Oppo for trying something different.

The phone looks great in the flesh and on paper but i cant get over the lousy support oppo have for their devices.
I.e extremely poor after inital release.
