The Find X just absolutely needed a FPS, whether in screen or on the body. If people were worried about the motor on the NEX failing when it's just for selfies, people should REALLY be worried about this design. The NEX just has to move for selfies, the Find X has to move for every single unlock (that alone could ruin any motor), all rear photos, and then selfies. With selfies seeing the least amount of use among the three, the Find X parts will be used way more than 3 times as much as the NEX's. And a Fps would have solved all of those added concerns. Also, it looks like the Find X will have a greater chance of getting dust in the sides. And also putting a case on it will be much more difficult, if possible at all. Oppo's solution might be more stylish but Vivo's looks much more usable

X's terrible camera, on the other hand, you cannot forget. It is forced down your throat each time you wish to take a photo.
Terrible choice by oppo.
Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition:
1- Luxury Class
2- Capable SoC
4- Massive storage for 1700 price tag
5- Good enough camera combination [capability wise]
6- Super Veloce charging
7- Juicy Battery [Not top dog, but enough for 35 min. 0-100 charging time]
8- Lambo Style back color
9- It is the most versatile phone out there after my experience with BB Classic/Classic Non camera combination for restricted area.
One was with camera for collecting photo documents and the other for bringing the phone inside restricted area of R&D sections.
Now they simply offer a guard which prevent the cameras to pop up. As simple as that.
Almost full screen display of 6+" is enough to watch everything with it and surf the web or even attend meetings with 6 or 8 live view from there with enough size to distinguish people from each other.
Very nice but, honestly, having a mechanical part moving up and down to show and hide the camera.. how many times does it work? 10.000? If I use the camera often, like 10 times a day, it will last less than 3 years. And I am not sure how resistant it is in case of drop.
Personally I would not buy it.
The price is too high. The borderless concept is yet to be achieved. Something around 96 or 97% would be interesting. And what about this pop up mechanism in terms of durability ? At the end plenty concessions, a weird design and a price too high
Motorized camera that sticks out. I'm sure this will never ever accidentally try to open while inside a purse or pocket and break the motor.
Anonymous, 24 Jun 2018Agree, tired of these big ass phones..The iPhone X is tiny
Anonymous, 24 Jun 2018True that!
No notch, Headphone jack, OLED display and great camera, couldn't ask for anything... moreAt least it's better than before.
It's also the best selling smartphone in Q1!
The phone is certainly a revolution in terms of screen to body ratio, and it's not something we see every day in looks.
Well done! Voted up its awesome
They're compelling, but life always taught me to get version 2 or above of any new technology.
I didn't think human beings could get any dumber (COUGH! curved displays), but then came narrow-aspect ratio displays...
So none of your on-screen content got larger, but your phone is now as long as my shoe (LMAO!)
Pretty soon I'll have to start my own smartphone company just to make a phone that isn't made for gimmick-marketing-susceptible idiots.
I somehow feel the same! My S9+ seems to be the most complete package (though I do like Note 8 with S Pen) and I really see the true value for money. Honor 10 the next most valuable mobile (OP6 beats though) AI photography and editing capabilities really far exceeding it's price point IMO
Anonymous, 24 Jun 2018I find it a boring generic Chinese phone.I havent seen anything like it on other generic chinese phone. Do you even know what generic mean?
[deleted post]And that is why the internet is the main source of trolls. Makes sense, right?
Anonymous, 24 Jun 2018Too big. What's the point of shrinking the bezels if they keep making the phone bigger? Make a... moreThat is the point. Shrinking the bezel to make the screen bigger but in the exact same body dimension. So, in essence only the screen goes bigger and not the phone itself.
