shimy, 22 Jun 2018Amazing. Apparently if you jack up the prices and not offer much of an upgrade, while other br... moreExactly. Samsung have a monopoly on super amoled screens. The cost to them have decreased loads yet they price in a premium. Yes it is nice and better but if they drop the prices then theyll find that people will favour Samsung rather than other brands.

Samsung have lost their way. I'm not surprised at the lower sales figures. They are offering extremely expensive phones for the specs. Yes I know that Samsung offer quality but others have caught up and it shouldn't be that much of a premium. I would like to see their A range sales figures. I can't see a snapdragon 450 for 300 selling well.

S9 isn't earth shattering even for S8 owners, and you can have pretty much the same or even better from others.
Beware, Samsung - HTC isn't a good role model.

They'll be down to 200M shipments once the Chinese expand further into Europe and the Americas. Chinese companies are working hard to eliminate the bezels and tackling engineering problems like ultrasonic headphones and selfie cam while Samsung releases the same curved screen (that people hate!), Wireless charging (technology dating back to the S4/S5 days) and Bixby powered (did I tell you how much people hate it?) for $1k. Anyone who know how economics of scale work would see how wrong that picture is.

Amazing. Apparently if you jack up the prices and not offer much of an upgrade, while other brands offer pretty much the same as you do at almost half the price, people don't rush to buy your products.

The problem with these galaxy phones are its depreciation rate. S9 twins are selling 20%-30% less a few months after release.

Because like xiaomi nokia apple etc 40% of all existing cell phones are made by Foxconn mostly by Factory at Chenzhou one of the world largest factory employng much more people than whole my country have :-)
Paying for Samsung sticker is a SIN.
And i would like to stay purified, cleansed without a SIN mark.
