HTC Amaze has Adobe Flash 11 with MoleHill 3D technology along with AIR3. Samsung only has Adobe Flash 10.2. The games for Amaze will be better if you cant upgrade on the Samsung Galaxy S2...

The higher price of HTCs was explained to me by better body HTC phones have: sturdy and durable aluminum (leading to a heavier weight of the unit) versus Samsung's plastic body requiring optional damage warranty. FYI.

it is very clear,1. Htc has got better built with unibody aluminium design which is more xpensive,2.sense ui monopoly,3.qhd screen with higher resolution than samsung

Price difference is likely the build quality. Aluminum is more expensive than plastic.

I personally think the HTC is higher due to the new features made to the camera. They are really focusing on that aspect of the phone for marketing purposes, ( smartshot, burstshot, sweepshot) etc.

I'm so confused now! I waited so long for the SG2 to hit the states, but this HTC looks amazing! I like thicker looking phones somehow they seem sturdier vs the the thin ones! I know the SG2 has the AMOLED which is a plus and slightly better android os that actually cost less, but this amaze is beautiful...Which should I get?! which one is better?! help! (I also heard samsung is terrible with updates)

Anonymous, 27 Sep 2011Metal isn't that good on a phone in my opinion, it dints and bends too easily, not to mention ... moreyour opinion indeed.... but 151g? thats light bro, rather a dent than cracks and loose pieces... the lighter the phone and cheap made the more likely it will show cracks and/or break

well... The outward body on Samsung is usually cheaper made as compared to HTC so that might also be a reason for the lower price difference.

I think they are both amazing when reading but I will reserve my opinion in the coming months AFTER they debut. I unfortunately learned a very harsh lesson with the G2X. Normally I wait a few months for a phone after its been out in the public for a few months, I didn't follow that logic with the G2X because of the issues I was having with my previous phone (3g mytouch slide). With so many issues that I've had with my G2X I would have preferred my Google G1 with the horror stories I could give.
I do hope these two phones live up to the hype I've been hearing and come out the gate with wonderful reviews from the public's opinion, because the G2X was a complete disaster.

Who the hell cares if Sense UI is better than TW or vice versa!!..the whole bling about Android is the unlimited customization option!!..why would one wanna stick to the broing stock UI when one can have awesome skins like GO EX and Launcher pro!!...Go customized ppl!! Android rocks!!! :)

Metal isn't that good on a phone in my opinion, it dints and bends too easily, not to mention it makes the phone heavier. Most decent phones dont have metal on them for these reasons, its not because it's slightly more expensive.

look at how beautiful the HTC amaze is with all those curves and aesthetics...if u buy a phone for specs only then u shud buy Huawei or ZTE and not HTC. Am using the stardard Galaxy s2 and its boring to look at after a while i have a friend with a Sensation and its a beautiful phone with metalic finish not just plastic so I UNDERSTAND WHY HTC ARE MORE EXPENSIVE!!!! the fact that the person who wrote this article cant see how beautiful HTC phones are makes me wonder if they shud be evaluating phones at all

you are banking on UI.. i mean UI is the reason you buy a smart phone. what on earth made you believe qHD is better than Super AMOLED. Please dont go by the theories of pixel counts. work on the real world scenarios.
Uni Body case... cant really stop laughing... this ones the best.. again , speaking abt a real world scenario... what would you do with your unicase when phone gets hot when playing HD games, i remove the battery cover from my Samsung and it'll help the phone cool fastly..(at times),..

Samsu... morethis htc is 16gb build in memory. and kamera is like htc titan. or nokia n9. 8mp, 28mm, f2.2

The price is surely due to the beautiful white color which brings more premium style to the HTC ! And also might be targeting man who would like to offer it to her sweet heart so are more likely to spend the extra dollar ! lol ;-)
