"6.9-inch screen" OMG!
My first tablet has 7.0" screen, and it was clumsy to handle... and resolution was 1024x600.

SMH 🤦 You can have big fonts on 4" screens, and Im' sure you'd type with both hands on 4" screens as well.
The Z Ultra is even bigger than this and I don't have any pockets that it doesn't fit.

Anonymous, 27 Jun 2018Please oh please LTE bands 2, 4, 13!!!I would love to upgrade my original Mi Max but I can't justify buying a phone without NA LTE bands. I've lived with 3G for the last few years just to own a large phone. No one makes a phablet with this size screen area. I'm looking at purchasing an older model phablet with LTE support if this thing doesn't have them.
Please oh please LTE bands 2, 4, 13!!!
AnonD-696348, 27 Jun 2018How much the price? 12k to 13k is good

The new Mi Max 3 with Snapdragon 710 AP has "Pro" moniker. So we can expect some cheaper "regular" or "vanilla" Mi Max 3 without "Pro".
I guess that the vanilla Mi Max 3 will use hexa-core Snapdragon 680 AP and have less RAM and storage like 4 GB / 64 MB and may be single (not dual) back camera sensor. Price will be much modest, near to low $200 USD range.
amazing
Syn, 27 Jun 2018How wld u trust that when the phone hasn't even been announced yet or a real render leaked? But the data on body dimensions and screen size come from CENAA certification, not a leak. Same with the first photos.
"I hope this version offers 1440x2880 resolution"
I hope not. FHD+ is fine and doesn't make your smartphone waste resources on calculating something your eyes hardly see.
"Sd 710 GPU performance is comparable to iphone 7 A10... but still not reach yet Sd 821 and far from Sd835 alone....yes..im talking about gpu not 'cpu'"
Your point? SD 710 here is not about being close in performance to SD 8xx series but combining overal performance with 10nm process, so no battery life is sacrificed. I don't think Mi Max devices are meant to be gaming platforms, they are more like productivity/multimedia smartphones. Hence great battery life and CPUs that are rather sufficient than powerful. It's something I actually like about them as I value good android responsivity at low price point above impressive Antutu score.
I own a Mi Max (1) and I don't care if Max 3 will be bigger, better for me to have an all in one device, I use my phone for a LOT of reading and it's a blessing for my eyes, some of us have big hands btw.

..Please check antutu GPU score...if don believe..
Yes off course...Sd 710 will be new upper midranger soc until next year..believe me...
however what it is.. if this phone cost less $ 260 , i can say this phone going to be succcess .
Many those from last 2 years midranger users eargerly want to upgrade their phone tempting on the reasonable price set by Xiaomi..
How much the price?
gaben, 26 Jun 2018Then what is to discuss? Gsmarena has all the data including screen to body ratio. How wld u trust that when the phone hasn't even been announced yet or a real render leaked?
Screen ratio is wrong in that picture. That's not a 18:9 screen.
Also, image is fuzzy... can't be a direct capture.
Also, the 710 SoC isn't hinted in any TENAA record related to a 6.9 inches Xiaomi device.
I would say I'm 99% sure that's a fake.
I hope this version offers 1440x2880 resolution

.alpha, 26 Jun 2018Put in a freaking SD 845 or Kirin 980. Why Android users love to choose between fast SoC and b... morebecause:
1- using midrange chips lowers the price significantly and
2- not all people can pay for premium packages.
3- said chips are enough for normal usage and most games.
4- lots of people I know don't know their screen size, technology or resolution. They can't tell how much ram the device has or whether it has NFC or not (even with the NFC logo on the bcak) not to mention the chipset. They know the color of the device and camera resolution and that's it!
