iam confused between sensation and evo 4gWell the resolution on the sgs2 is awful but I like the super smiled. Also the sensation will be getting ice confirmed this month abyway . I can say that with both phones (I have both) running cyanogenmod the sensation is much faster with no over locking done. Its the sense UI on the sensation that slows it down so much. Install a custom rom that isnt sense and you will see exactly what i am talking about

Im actually really upset about this! I got the phone and then HTC decides to bring a phone just like this but better! This just makes me sad

We have some good news for those in the US that plan on purchasing an HTC Sensation 4G. The manufacturer of the Android smartphone just got its request to make hardware changes to the Sensation approved by the HTC. The request involves pushing up the CPU speed to 1.5GHz and replacing the battery...
Does this means that we can have this those who purchase the phones before this? Or this will be only for future purchases?

My last phone was Htc hd2,after lots of searching on the web I decided to buy a Samsung galaxy s II (in this site they called it " brigthest star " )after 2 or 3 days I found it boring and plasticy,screen color was not natural so I changed it with a original sensation( made in china ) everything was good espitialy HTC Sense, except battery life which was awful ,less than 1 day,so I went for iphone 4s 64GB ,everything is perfect ,just some small things,like on contact list you can not see your contacts' picture,and in your favorit contacts page just you can see their names not their picture,there is no smart dialing too.I tought just the re is no perfect man,now I know there is no perfect phone too.

No point for waiting for update or Sensation XE, just visit XDA-Developers nad put on Sensation XE rom with 1.5ghz and Beats audio mod :)

I am a sensation owner and i love the phone love the design and the ui, well i have read a lot of article and review comparison between the sensation and samsung s2 and its clear that the sensation comes only second to s2 so a update like a cpu bump to 1.5 (please can anybody explain me if its possible ) and the beats is a great welcome for me, also in one review that i have read that the sensation feels only like a fast single core than a dual core so o hope this will make the sensation feel more than a dual core and with the beats it will be beast of a phone .!

And dusty screen. But it's under warranty, so no problem... It's a good thing that this phone has more potential, than we thought before.
Sense 3.5 will come soon, that is more faster and stable than the original Sense 3.0. Increasing CPU frequency gives us more potential and lifetime... HTC don't let this phone to fall into disuse... This phone is htc-s flagship recently so it's clear that they upgrade it...

I own both HTC Sensation and Samsung galaxy S2 and i think HTC wins on most fronts. Wasted money on Samsung after most people raved about the phone. QUick test of picture quality i done with both phones was the YOU TUBE trailer of Avatar HD. Quality of pictures on HTC absolutely smash the Samsung. Fog parts on Trailer come up really nice on HTC but On samsung in comes up with a green tinge through the fog. Thats one example. Another is the labotory scene where the walls look green even though they are white in the movie. HTC shows them up in real white. OTher areas where samsung does not measure up is the dark parts in the trailer where objects are ghost. On the HTC you can still see person features. Don't waste any money like i did i buying Samsung. MOst areas HTC is better and speed wise also very good. Don't need 1.5ghz. If anything without sense HTC quicker then samsung already.

My desire hd is still Superior than any other doe device. Over clock up to 1.6
android 2.3.5 and sense 3.5 beats audio. Isn't it remarkable

this is just so it can compete with the original s2 coz the original sensation was a EPIC FAIL!
s2's 1.2 still beats any htc
