As much as I hate the notch and chin, at least it's got stereo speakers...
Ugly, expensive AF, missing key features, no ty. I expect lots of hype from tech youtubers, the ugly truth is that Pixels are mid-range phones with excellent camera with cost doubling if not tripling their actual value.
I don't understand, the design on the previous Pixel was lackluster and they pretty much took that and went with it for this one as well.
It doesn't look like a premium device and I'm pretty sure it doesn't feel like one either.
Ugly asf, this isn't a device with which you can impress a date or your friends.
I'm sure it'll be alright in terms of software and hardware but they really need to hire some new people to work on their designs.
That notch is deep. Urghh...
Ewww notch.
Such an ugly chin and so big to let it get ignored.. Pixel devices have never been known for the design but such an ugly chin NO NO for 2018. One one single camera also is a Big No for 2018.
With so may less things in the phone the price would be opposite and that's gonna be very High.
Peace..
What's keeping the pixel's afloat (above Samsung) is the camera......and timely updates. Google , like any other OEM, is bound to slip-up once in a while and when it does....it won't have many takers with a 7 month old processor and a antique design with iphone like prices...
I've used the Pixel 2 XL and Pixel 2, and I will say I'm happier with the regular Pixel 2.
The newer Pixel 3 remedies the biggest design issue which is trimming down the top and bottom bezels. Hopefully battery life will improve too, which is my second biggest gripe with the Pixel 2.
I would be willing to overlook the notch on the 3 XL but since it's made by LG I'm pretty sure the P-OLED is still going to blue shift, and the LG made Pixels just aren't as solid or dependable as HTCs. I returned two Pixel 2 XLs for hardware problems. One had a video recording problem, the second had a really awful screen and a blemish on the back.
Pixel 3 design looks a bit weird but I'm probably going to love the phone regardless

Notch is the future...You heard about Oppo Findsl X and Vivo NEX S?
Notch is not the future.
Full screen display us the future.
Geric.770, 28 Jun 2018I like compact phones and hated the notch, so...
Pixel 3.
Notch is the future...
Anonymous, 28 Jun 2018A repeat of the screen issues, whilst not impossible, is certainly unlikely. Isn't it? The cam... moreGoogle should stick with HTC for manufacturing both Pixels. LG products are known for being a bunch of crap (bootlooping on their phones, their P-OLED panels having problems).
Why doesn't Google bring the Pixel series officially here in our country? The only way you can buy one here is on the grey markets (online sellers) without any official warranty.
If they released the Pixel 3 in our country, I'd buy one in a heartbeat and ditch my current phone (P10).
I like chins, and am warming to the notch, a good use of space, keeps battery etc off my screen. What will make it is the cameras, screen and battery life. I'm hopeful, I really am.
Tondern, 27 Jun 2018$1000, LG screen, a notch and 4 GB ram. What could possibly go wrong?A repeat of the screen issues, whilst not impossible, is certainly unlikely. Isn't it? The camera was immense, the rest was mid range. They will surely sort it this time.
Congratulations to Google for being able to make worse design each Pixel's new generation. That's really impressive!
