Koala, 27 Jun 2018I THINK pen will have fingerprint scanner to unlock phone. Unfortunately, it will be bloody Bixby button.
*crying*
RANDOMS, 28 Jun 2018so every time you want to unlock the phone you have to take out the s pen? very cleverthat will not be a clever movement if SPEN needed to be at hand each time we will unlock a phone. It must be somewhere in the body of Note 9
Why SAMSUNG needed to house the SPEN inside the body they rather can sell some high end loaded feature SPEN as accessories to NOTE series to make it more better from inside. Though SPEN is the only thing it separates from Flagship S Series. They needed to find some other way around for this pen to include
AnonD-664979, 27 Jun 2018Maybe because they're focusing on the s10? Their 10TH ANNIVERSARY galaxy? There isn't much tha... moreIt is broke doe. Samsung has seen her flagships sales going straight to tartaturs lately.
S8 sold 40 million in total. S4 had sold 80 million.
Samsung has stopped giving tantalizing reasons for people to choose her over others and/or indeed for people to upgrade.
Maybe it has to do with the fact that they follow in most of everything apart from acreen tech.
Low BtS ratio compare to certain Chinese that near the 90% spec
Low RAM
One of the worst battery in flagship level
SoC throttles and generally like most androids don't hold a candle to Apple's
Iterative design
Camera is nothing spectacular as compared to other offeofferi
Every year it is worse for her sales.
They either have to change or they will become completely broken.
Not many good reasons for anyone to protech samsung over the chinese at this point.
I mean P20 Pro is better at eveything except screen quality...
Anonymous, 28 Jun 2018I get it.. The S-Pen Button with Finger Print reader.. So the finger print won't have to be on... moreso every time you want to unlock the phone you have to take out the s pen? very clever
I will buy it only if:
- 4k resolution + new gear vr(no screen door effect) so I can watch Netflix in HD
or
- Lapdock (Project Linda style)
In any other case i wait for Razer Phone 2.
So many phones to choose from, minimal differences. Not a jaw dropping upgrade over the previous phones, but I bet their R&D spent a loooooot to come up with this one.
I get it.. The S-Pen Button with Finger Print reader.. So the finger print won't have to be on the front or back of the phone.. Very clever implementation by Samsung.. Only Samsung can do this because no other phone comes with a high tech stylus like Samsung Note

Samsung needs to give stop lying and launch the flexible phone promised in january 2013.
The Note 9 is a $1000 lie. Note 8 chassis with new processor. wow take my money!

Where would we be if scientists adhered to that rule? I remember when touchscreens first came out, a lot of people were saying "I'll never give up physical keyboards! And yet here you are typing away on a touchscreen. So yes its broken if it stays the same.
Please ditch the useless curved edges.
LG Superfan, 27 Jun 2018Thats spen button I thought it was home buttonMe too.
Another 1000€ ripoff.
PIXEL87, 27 Jun 2018There's nothing more to expect from Samsung, they have succeeded in manufacturing almost all t... moreNo S Pen. Those phones are less than the Galaxy Note.
Let me guess. Upper and bottom bezel, tiny battery and generally same specs as s9+...
A proper Note phone, right heh?
Like Note 4 for example, same ram as s5, same SoC, same weak battery, same screen...
Oh wait, no! Note 4 was pretty much upgrading everything from s5, as note 3 did from s4, as note 2 did from s3...etc, etc, etc.
Then again Samsung fanboys would buy anything. So kudos to Samsung that managed to cut corners reliably and still have people supporting them.
Like those Bitcoin enthusiasts. Sure it may have lost 70% of its value wrecking homes by the way... but hey, it is valuable I'm told!
Haha, fanboys would be fanboys.
