Decision-makers at Sony have lost their minds. 1000$ is far too much for this phone. There is no way to defend this, even for Sony fans.
Every decision they have take this year has been horrible.
Welcome to another episode of Sony Making A Good Phone, But Overpricing It So It Doesn't Sell Well. I really like their smartphones and their cameras are getting near Samsung and Apple levels (not quite there yet), but they need to make their base bigger so they can get people to trust them again. After that they can price their phones this way. 1000$ is a lot to ask for. Even Apple didn't manage to do too well when they priced the X this way. Oh well, let's hope for the best.

I owned the xz pro and its a beast and want to buy the xz2 pro but one thousand dollars man here in argentina its a LOT of money, i think a reasonable price can be 700 dollars, i will try to get this one

Good Lord that is way too expensive. Back in de days of the first cellphones they were priced 1000 plus dollar because it was for the rich and wealthy. But now it seems very normal to have a 1000 dollar phone for the average consumer. Ridiculous pricing of phones nowadays, no matter what manufacturer.
